This pen has a very very good design physically. The magnet is strong. Ergonomic design or the pen body. The eraser feels nice. The pen tips are of very nice material too. Almost resemble the official pen tips of remarkable. BUT it ghost write... with or without the pen nib inside. The EMR core needs to be changed. Otherwise, great design for a very great price. One star for it being not functional.

The first two nibs did not work at all. I would be half an inch off the screen and it was registering as full pressure.I found the shortest stemmed nib in the package and that made it functional. (And when you're talking a highly sensitive input, the difference in length is miniscule but important)

I bought this marker because it said it is compatible with the ReMarkable Paper Pro 2024. It is NOT compatible.

This doesn't work at all on my Chromebook that definitely has EMR technology.

I do hope future versions will offer more durable tips similar to the original, but this is a minor trade-off.One difference compared to the original pen is the eraser function. On the DoohowCase pen, when using the eraser side, you have to apply extra pressure for it to work. This is different from the original Remarkable Pen, where the eraser works seamlessly without requiring extra effort. Although it doesn't provide the same effortless experience, it’s not a dealbreaker for me and doesn’t diminish the pen’s overall value.Despite this small drawback, this stylus is still the best alternative on the market. It combines great weight, functionality, and an affordable price, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their Remarkable 2 experience without breaking the bank. This is a really good pen. It feels smoother than the standard remarkable pen. It fits perfectly in my hand. The only problem I notised is it's too smooth or glossy to hold. It slides around unless you grip it tight and I don't usually hold a pen this tight. It came with extra nibs. I docked a point because even though it is compatible with the Remarkable, It cannot use Remarkable nibs and vice versa. So if you have multiple pens, do not mix nibs and be careful which nib you fit in. I am not sure how useful the pen will be once the nibs all wear down. The eraser isn't like the Remarkable either. It pushes down when you use it making you have to press in to use it. If your other pens don't do this or if you use different ones, this different functionality may catch you off guard. Other than that, it works well. Paired immediately and I would recommend it.
