High quality, one small flaw
Overall this seems to be a well made and high quality product. I have only used it for a few weeks, but everything seems sturdy and gives every indication that it will last a long time. (Although, one has to use an item a few years to be sure.) The only small thing that surprised me is the size of the zipper pull. It is long enough that it might, if positioned correctly, be visible beneath the edge of the belt. In other words, imagine the belt is horizontal and the zipper pull is hanging down from the middle of the backside of the belt. The zipper pull is just long enough that its end might be visible from the front. Would anyone see it? I think it's possible ... if, for example, you wear this belt with light-colored pants, if you're standing up in front of someone who is seated and who happens to be looking at your waist. Maybe that's unlikely, but I think there's a small chance. If the zipper pull were slightly shorter, but a bit wider, it would still be easy to use, but wouldn't be able to hang down below the bottom edge of the belt.

Excellent Purchase! Sturdy!
So I was skeptical by how much I was going to be able to hide in the inner pocket, but you’d be surprised! Of course, it’s not gonna hide rolls and rolls of 100s, but you shouldn’t be carrying that on your trip anyway LOL. See the photos. It’s surprising roomy. The strap is really strong. The buckle is plastic, but definitely clamps well to hold anyone’s pants up! The extra loop to hold leftover belt is also helpful. One downside may be that if you need to stash something with an angle, it could be uncomfortable since it’s hidden on the inside of the belt, but that’s your fault for carrying that on your trip! Definitely recommended for people looking for a cool sturdy but not flashy belt to help you conceal your valuables!

Good procuct. It should last.
Nice belt. i went thru 3 eagle creek brand belts like this before switching to this one. it's a little bit wider than my previous ones, which is nice. the $$ compartment is sewn in well and holds plenty of bills. the zipper pull however, was too long, and hung down below the bottom of the belt, making it visible. i just took a nipper and clipped the zipper pull short enough to be hidden. they included a little slider loop to keep the loose end of the belt tidy if your size doesn't land precisely in one of your pant loops. the buckle works well, cinches nicely and seems durable.

Great for TSA security checks
Belt feel's tactical and secure with comfort. I was able to leave the belt on while going through airport security because the buckle is made of very durable plastic (my wife washed it). Thanks!!!

Airport tested - passes the scanner test.
Slim no metal, I wore it thru the airport scanners with no problem. Trade off is number of bills it will hold. Dollars take a half fold and five sets of five keeps enough flexibility. Pound notes take two third folds. Five sets of five with half length overlap works well.

Awesome secret pocket belt!
I have started traveling much more often in the last few years, so I have started to try and buy products that help to protect our belongings while we are away.I have so many friends that have had cash stolen whilst on vacation that I have become really weary while we are away. But with two small children its so easy to become distracted and plus we have little control of things when we are staying in crowded and busy hotels. So I would actually place cash and credit cards hidden in my shoe soles and other places that would not be obvious. But it’s not very practical so I searched all over for something like this heavy duty belt with a secret compartment. It has been like a Godsend because it looks nice on, it’s good quality but most of all it’s super discreet at hiding cash.It give me so much peace of mind knowing that my cash is safe and that I can have it accessible when I need and hidden when I want to.If you travel often then you are a target to pick pockets, thieves and just nasty people so you need to be much more than careful you need to be safe, this belt does just that; keeps your hard earned cash safe ;)

Don't bother.
Good in theory, bad in reality. The compartment is too small to fit bills in without at least 2 folds. After wearing it all day bills are so mangled that most currrency exchanges don't want them. Had to sit around one night ironing all my money

Belt Material Frays Easily
It was a revelation, wearing a ratcheting belt for the first time. Functionally it worked well for over two months. I normally buy a new belt annually. The first problem is that the zipper pull is way too large. Now, that feature was mostly a fun novelty to me, but I was surprised by that design element. Second, the built-in loop promptly came off. Not a big deal, since I really didn't need it. Third, the big problem, it frayed. The general area of the belt that goes through the buckle frayed on the bottom side, threads sagging down and then dangling as they broke. As it got fuzzy and in the way, I trimmed it and it just kept going. Perhaps 1/3 inch of the lower side of the belt is gone on a stretch of about 3 inches. I ended up ordering a different belt that had its own, worse problems, and am now awaiting my second different belt to try. Fraying might be the nature of the material, but it seems wrong to me.

love this belt
No metal buck means not having to remove it at customs. Ingenious Idea. Love the belt
