Much of this comes from a regular diet. There is no upper limit because Biotin is water-soluble. In other words, there is no proof that too much Biotin is toxic to the human body. It is possibly toxic to a bank account if 99.99% of the Biotin ends up in the toilet.Massive doses of Biotin can also interfere with specific laboratory tests. But I am not a doctor, and you should do your own research on Biotin. I'm happy taking one of these capsules per day.One capsule gives me 2,500 Micrograms of Biotin in addition to my diet. That's still a huge amount. I have to trim my nails every couple of weeks, and my hair is reasonably strong and thick for my age (see photos).One bottle of 60 capsules will last me 2 months at one capsule per day. And I'm still getting 104,167% of the %DV on the product label. I can live with that.

I think for the price, this Biotin brand is a good option. Easy to swallow as well. The dosage is two Biotin capsules daily. Being that I also take a daily multivitamin, I could cut back and take only one Biotin tablet daily because I am already getting the other benefits of vitamin A, C, E and Zinc in the multivitamin, and the amount of Biotin is quite a lot. This would stretch out an already affordable supplement.

Thanks to the pandemic I experienced unexpected hair loss in early 2022 so, as per my doctors’ recommendation, I’ve been taking biotin ever since and I have really seen a difference! My hair doesn’t seem to be growing faster but it DOES seem thicker and healthier - and my nails are growing like weeds!These capsules are a nice standard size and easy to swallow (recommended serving is 2/day). I received four bottles with 30 servings each which provides enough capsules to cover you for 4 months - a true bargain at just $8/bottle!As with any supplement you’ll want to compare the nutritional table with anything else you’re taking to ensure you’re not getting a higher-than-recommended dose of any one vitamin along the way. The only ingredient I’m concerned with in this supplement is Vitamin A (1,500 mcg); Dr. Google recommends staying below 3,000 mcg/day and, after checking my other supplements (mainly my multi-vitamin) I’m safely under that threshold. YMMV so do your own research and/or consult your physician.Last but not least, it’s hard to speak to the effectiveness because if it’s something you're already taking it’s hard to notice a difference in the way you look and/or feel. However, if it’s new to you/your system, it usually takes a while for any real benefits to show up.
