I purchased the XGC4 power adapter to charge my two NOCO GB70 emergency starter batteries. While you can charge the GB70 via USB, it takes nearly two days at a nominal 15 wats. Once charged, the GB70 can start the car several times, and the self discharge rate is very slow.

Great product. Used this several times, has never let me down. Works great at remote sites where carrying a battery isn't feasible. So far I've used it to start vehicles, farm machinery, as a battery to run motors and small pumps for short periods of time

I purchased this item when my 2005 Hummer H2 battery kept dieing. I purchased a new battery and it would be dead the next morning!!I thought my alternator was overcharging or I had vampiric drain.....so I bought this to help me test out my issues. I was able to connect it to the battery and it would allow my H2 to run without issue for at least an hour as I tested every connection I could find. The minute I would disconnect it....the vehicle would shut off.Eventually I learned my battery had 2 dead cells and got it replaced. I put away this jumper and never re-charged it. About a month later I needed to jump my buddies H2 and I pulled this out of my tool chest and it still had a charge on her. It worked!!Any time I go on road trips now I charge this up and keep it in the back. Highly recommended!!! Especially on larger V8 vehicles.

This thing charged my starter battery in no time compared to using a usb.

A solid product to be sure and I'd give it 5 stars all around except for two things. In fact I think it's the best Booster I've ever owned. Problem? The chargers that come with the package. The first, the one that uses the lighter socket in your vehicle to charge the unit. This means you have to take it along if you want to charge it even if you don't need to use the unit at the time, or leave it to charge and stay with your vehicle while it does so to assure no one breaks into your vehicle and steals it. Bad idea, unless you are on a long road trip and bringing it anyway. The second is the USB charger. (Which is easy to break and very slow to charge.) The primary charger that SHOULD BE included with the unit is not, and that is the Wall Charger. It has been separated from the product so it can be offered separately for an extra 70+ dollars. Factor that into the price, along with a proper case, also sold separately. speaking to the GB150, yes, it will start a Semi, is easy to use, can be used multiple times without a recharge (5 at least by my tests on an old vehicle and intentionally allowing the battery to die)

Works very well even on diesel truck batteries. Overall a great product at a reasonable price.
