If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
These shoes from under armour are quite possibly the most ridiculous shoes I have ever owned. The design is fine, the build looks okay, they are attractive and comfortable but they have a failing that is, having worn shoes for over fifty years, quite unlike any I have ever encountered. They quack. Not a little, or quietly but often and loudly. For the first couple of hours or so they are fine, little more than the occasional creak but come lunchtime they begin with their racket, first one, then the other, slowly building to a deafening crescendo, quack! Quack! Quack! QUACK! QUACK!! QUACK!!! Every step accompanied by a comedy exclamation. It is like wearing a couple of ducks on your feet. I have tried everything to identify the source but without success, the noise and embarrassment they cause simply follows me everywhere. I no longer wear them to work as my workmates have begun to call me Donald, it's a good job I'm not a Ninja or a stalker. And if you're thinking this is a bizarre one-off I beg to differ as I was unfortunate enough to buy two pairs, one for me and one for my long suffering son, his don't quack though, they bark.

I should have splashed out
Okay so stupidly during the early days of my half marathon training I thought I could get away with spending cheap on my running shoes.I was averaging 25-30 miles a week and these really took a toll on my feet and lasted about 2 weeks. I then bought a pair of (other brand) for 2.5x the price and felt the immediate difference. So, great shoe for the price but depending on use make sure you do your research. For the random gym-goer they're great! If your schedule is a little more intense, look after your feet and get a proper trainer that's right for you.

Opening is designed for a small child.
I'm a size 10 and ordered an 11 as my feet are wide and splatty so always have to go a bit bigger. These are pretty comfy but I've never had so much trouble getting my foot into something before. I had to open these up as wide as they would go to get my foot in, then the boot laces aren't long enough and I'm left with about 2cm per side to tie up.It's a shame as they are lightweight and feel really comfy once I heaved my foot into the hole but they're no good for anyone with non-standard feet.

Quality not as good on this pair. Not the usual UU quality
Disappointed in the quality. Had these shoes for less than a month and haven’t worn them that much. I really like under armour as I believed they were value for money and high quality. That said, feel the quality on these shoes is low. The sole is already cracking and showing loads of weathering. The seems are coming loose and threads coming off them. Overall, disappointed and won’t be buying again. Shame as my last pair I bought lasted.

Great shoes for the price
To be honest I was a bit dubious about buying these shoes at first as I didn't believe you could buy a quality pair of gym shoes for this price. I was wrong, they are on par with trainers that would cost twice the amount. They are very comfortable, I can walk all day in them and even scaled Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh wearing them. The soles are too thin for running on pavements but are great for walking or wearing at the gym or on a treadmill. They look great with casual wear or sports clothes. My dress shoe is an 8 I bought these in an 8.5 for that extra bit of room.

The most lightweight and most comfortable running shoes on the market.
I've tried Skechers, Adidas, Nike and other leading brands...and while they all were comfortable and long lasting I've never had a pair so lightweight on my feet. These have the durability of running shoes but the feel of moulded slippers. I can not Express just how comfortable these trainers are and how much I love them. I will never buy another pair of running shoes ever again.

Comfortable and sturdy
I bought these trainers for my regular gym workout and the occasional jog. The fit is pretty accurate (I hate the way every brand these days seem to fit differently despite the fact that sizes are supposed to be universal), and the shoes felt comfortable right away. The cushioning under the heel is excellent and makes running even on hard surfaces fairly manageable. For a sub £40 pair of trainers I think you'd be heard pushed to find something better.
