I’m giving this product a 8/10 just because it’s so much easier to have on than other splints. It’s waterproof. I can wash dishes, shower and continue my everyday duties without having to adjust it or take it off. I even sleep with it.The downside is that due to my inflammation of my fingers only one size splint fit fingers and I have two mallet fingers. So I would need to order another pack to have two of the same size. I will say that it does hurt for a while in the beginning and I searched up that it’s supposed to hurt because it’s part of the healing process. My mallet fingers need to heal and that usually takes about 6-8 weeks. I also found out that I can’t take off the splint during those weeks just to make sure they heal properly.But the item does work as described and it’s durable. I recommend this product for anyone with a mild mallet finger(s). I hope you can heal your fingers!Side note: I shared a picture of my left finger without the product on and my right finger with product on showing how straight it stays.

These are perfect for broken finger !! I had a long brace that covered the whole finger but wanted something less bulky. These are great. They come in a variety of sizes so you can adjust as your swelling goes down. I put two on to be sure I’m straight as possible and i covered with athletic tape to protect if i hit my hand on something.Use 2 for a fractured. Finger.And the curly plastic that comes in the bag is to wind around the ring part. See pic.

Found a good fit of the kit for my Malet middle finger (big hand). Was reasonably comfortable but doesnt fully straigten the finger. A plastic brace with klett stra[ is better for straighening. Having said that, I wore the splint for 8 weeks, and yet my last segment is still quite bent after 'fully healed' finger. I then sublimented with O-ring for sume weeks during the day and wore splint at night. All not to effective, I am affraid, my finger is still bent but 'fully' functional. Also worth noting, you need to keep your PIP (inner joint) moving throughour the wearing of the splint, otherwise it will get stiff!

I've only had these a day, and find myself compelled to write a review - which never happens. Having dealt with rheumatoid arthritis my whole life, I find myself with a nasty case of trigger thumb now that I'm sliding into old-ish age. I had been using a traditional velcro-type splint, which did work wonders, but was a pain in the rear when it came to washing my hands, washing dishes, brushing my teeth... anything, really, to do with water. You either have to take it off, or hold your thumb at a really weird angle to keep the thing from getting wet; and if they do get wet, the smell is horrid.I saw these, and decided to give them a try. Oh. My. Giddy. Aunt! Not only can I wash my hands with impunity again, but it is so much easier to do the little things without a big, bulky brace getting in the way. There are several sizes in a packet, so it was easy to find one that was just the right fit for my thumb. I'll definitely be ordering som more, just in case anything happens to this one!

I am writing this review because these confused me. But at the same time, I would not hold that against the maker. There may have been a way that I did not understand to use them. I developed arthritis and my fingers are starting to bend. It looks very much like a swan. So it looked like these were perfect for my problem. It would help me to keep my finger straight. They were very painful when they bent. So I got these and returned them the same day. The reason is because they were hard plastic pieces. I thought they would be made firm but I could stretched it a little to put them on and that they would pull my finger into a straighter position. But that was not the case. They are very hard and they don’t stretch at all. I thought with my fingers bending, that hard plastic would dig into my skin. So please do not avoid buying these based on this review, but I encourage you to learn how they work and how you put them on before you buy them. You may end up more satisfied than I was. I wished they could have helped me but I just did not understand how to use them.

These ring splints get the job done. They are not as high quality as the name brand versions I have purchased, but generally do what they need to do. They’re lightweight, and stabilize the joints I need them to for the most part.Unlike Oval-8 ring splints, these do not have a marking to differentiate the slightly larger and slightly smaller ends, which can be extremely frustrating when trying to wear them. The molding of the plastic also left a slightly rough edge on some of the splints, and this can become irritating with constant wear.Overall: worth a few bucks if they will help you in the short term, but it’s probably worth investing in something higher quality if you will be needing them for a significant length of time. I recommend them for injury recovery, do not recommend them for long term use.

I have trigger finger on my right thumb; every day little things that are so painful - buttons, zippers, brushing my teeth, combing my hair - I did those things today, pain free for the first time in months. I couldn't be happier with this product, UAKIKAU Oval finger splint.

I use it all the time. Well, almost. You don’t want it to get wet as it sleeps right out. Also I use a different protection for my finger at night. Otherwise it’s discrete, and I can use it while typing on my keyboard. It’s not bulky, doesn’t stick to my clothes with velcro part. Also I like the idea of different sizes in one package, as I already change from size 5, to 4, and now at 3. Love it!
