Perfect Tumbler for the Serious Home Coffee Roaster
I’ve roasted green coffee beans at home for several years now and take great pride in the results. In January of this year, I retired my SR540 roaster with Razzo roasting chamber and upgraded to a programmable Ikawa Home Roaster (the white model pictured). After achieving precision in roasting, I went in search of a tumbler that could match that level of refinement—something practical, reliable, and ceramic-lined to let the subtle flavors of my roasts shine through.I previously tried another ceramic-lined tumbler but ended up re-homing it due to an insurmountable design flaw. After using this Simple Human 360 ceramic-lined tumbler daily for several weeks, I can confidently say it’s the perfect companion to my home roasting setup. It’s easy to clean, keeps beverages at temperature, and—most importantly—preserves the integrity of the coffee flavor. No metal aftertaste. No lingering flavors from the day before. Just pure, nuanced coffee, as intended.Highly recommended.

My Awesome SM cup
This is the best insulated mug I've ever had. Its easy to open and close. No worry when driving to loo to see that ive got the open spot in the right place before I take a drink so i dont need to take my eyes off the road. Its easy to clean also. The only thing is I wish they also offered it in a larger size too.Great purchase!

Small, green, perfect!
This is exactly what we were after. A convenient travel coffee mug that fits in the cup holder, keeps coffee hot for an hour-long drive, and adds no metal taste to your beverage of choice! No leaks here. The lid fits and makes a tight seal. WOO WOO!The color is perhaps a touch brighter IRL, but if so, it's only for the better. The green is GORGE.It seems like it will last a while, and although it was a splurge, it replaces 3 previous (not-so-good but less expensive) tries to find the perfect commuter cup. After more than a week of daily use, it's still the best travel mug my spouse has ever tried. Nice work, Simple Modern. Please make more dark colors and I'll be back at his birthday and Christmas.

Pretty good, does what it says, is what it says, also pretty heavy.
Cup is the advertised color, size, etc. It positively closes very well. I've tipped it over on a desk once or twice, stood it up within 30 seconds, not a single drip.Docking a star because of two things:1. The mechanism that enables the "lid" to click up and down takes up a MASSIVE amount of room. This cup, overall, is 30% larger than my previous (very simple) reusable coffee cup. The capacity, however, is exactly the same. The guts of the lid actually protrude so far down below the top assembly that I have to very deliberately fill the cup so that when I install the lid, coffee doesn't gush out on the counter.2. Is this thing insulated well? Probably... I'm not sure- I don't take an hour or two to drink a cup of coffee. Just not my style, personally. However I CAN tell you that if one measures the likelihood of insulation by weight, then brother, you better look out because this thing should be able to keep coffee warm for DAYS. And bonus, even if this thing is empty, if anyone attempts to harm you while walking to or from your vehicle, I feel confident this cup could be used to effectively beat someone to the point that they would require hospitalization. That's all I'm saying. This cup is heavy. Make sure you split your time carrying it in alternating hands, otherwise one of your forearms is going to become MASSIVE while the other looks like a little baby toothpick, is all I'm saying. It's HEAVY.I bought two, and returned the second one because it's just too heavy for my liking.

I would totally buy again
it’s my favorite coffee mug. I own perfect for road trips fits comfortably in cupholders, and I can put it in my backpack and not worry about it spelling

Great Traveler!
These coffee travelers are nice. But watch how much you tip them when drinking because you CAN spill it on yourself in front of others lol. When the lid is closed it’s tight with no leaks.

Look for something better.
Looks great, design looks expensive. It’s lightweight, the size is just right for generous cup of tea, it fits well in a hand.. However, if a teabag has a label on it, this label leaves print marks on the glassy surface, and those marks can only be removed with rubbing alcohol and vigorous scrubbing. I’m not gonna do that after every time I have tea, so I end up with a light beige cup that looks dirty.. It was a Christmas gift and by now the interior is starting to chip off. I don’t even really wash it, just rinse with hot water since I just h make tea in it, I don’t understand how the inside coating is coming off already. I’ve had coffee mugs lasted me decades, and this one is concerning me after a couple months. Overall, not worth the money.

Truly leakproof coffee drink tumbler, but properly cleaning the lid is a process.
This tumbler doesn't do a spectacular job of keeping hot drinks hot, but it is sufficient. It takes considerable effort to clean the tumbler lid, especially if you add cream or sugar to your coffee. Cleaning the lid under running faucet water isn't sufficient, and cleaning the lid in the dishwasher isn't enough. I clean this Simple Modern Lid the same way I used to clean Contigo lids, and that works.(Step 1) Start by holding the opened lid and running it under faucet water, right side up and upside down, for about a minute or two. You'll think the lid is clean, but it's not.(Step 2) Fill a clear glass bowl or wide-mouth cup with clear water. (I use a 2-cup measuring cup.) Drop the lid in and swish it inside the water by holding the lid with your thumb and forefinger, or tongs. Once the water becomes cloudy, pour out the cloudy water, refill with fresh water, and start swishing again. Repeat this process until the swishing water is clean.(Step 3) Occasionally, when able, I will leave the lid inside clear water for a couple of hours or even overnight and swish again until the swishing water is clear.I have decided to keep this Simply Modern tumbler because it is genuinely leakproof. When thrown in my bag, it won't accidentally unlatch or unlock and leak, making the ridiculous cleaning routine worth the effort.
