UPDATE. I wrote the review below after four months of use. It has now been over a year, and nothing has changed, except that I am even happier about my purchase.This backpack looks good, works well, and is in perfect condition after four months [update: 1+ years] of daily use. I was looking for a backpack that could hold my 16-inch laptop and a few other things without looking very bulky. I also sought a sternum strap and was hoping for a backpack that would last, though at this price I thought some parts might show wear early on (they have not). This backpack has met all of my expectations.On a typical day I carry the laptop, a thin binder, a pencil/pen case, various small things in internal compartments (keys, wallet, USB, toothbrush, etc.), an iPad, a thin tupperware that holds a sandwich (there's no space for thicker ones), a folded shirt, the rain cover that comes with the backpack and takes up almost no space, and my thermos on one of the side slots (these slots expand a lot but contract when not in use, making the full backpack seem tighter and more professional).I bought this for $40 in March 2019.

Doubt you’ll find a better one for the price.

I was skeptical about this back being so cheap compared to other backpacks I've bought before. I was surprised by the quality of materials used. The only thing I didn't like we're the zippers due to feeling kind of cheap. Well fast forward to almost a month of owning the backpack it seems my suspicions were correct. I've been using this backpack every day of the week this semester and today the stitching on the big compartment zipper failed. I haven't abused this bag and I'd say day to day I only have it filled to about 70% capacity. Was hoping for better with this bag.
