Fantastic Results
I used this product for the first time as a sealer and finish for the landing on my front steps. The space was about 6'x5'. I had recently repaired some cracks by resurfacing using a concrete repair mortar and I wanted something that would seal the concrete and give it a nicer finish. Plus my wife insisted it be tan and not gray. So in searching I came across this Kilz product and I have to say it was the PERFECT solution. It's very simple to apply. It dries with a kind of a sandy-looking and feeling finish, so it's not slippery when wet and it looks uniformly awesome when dry. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend it for changing the looks and improving water-resistance for a concrete patio or stairway landing. Really great product!

Coverage and Quality NOT as Advertized
THIS IS A POOR PRODUCT. DOES NOT PERFORM AS ADVERTISED. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The other negative reviews describing poor coverage, poor uniformity, and difficulties in application are absolutely correct. I had a small porch project that should have taken 1 gallon for two coats, as specified by KILZ. 1 gallon was only enough for 1 coat. I ended up buying 3 gallons to achieve 3 coats and the uniformity of the final product was still inferior. As others have said, following KILZ's directions to use a 1/4" adhesive roller does not work--no uniformity in application. I ended up using a 4" brush for the 3rd coat, which did a better job than the roller, but still not good. I am an experienced painter and will never buy this product again.

Very good paint.
The paint quality is very good. It worked well on my garage floor. Easy to paint on and has been very durable. Clean up was easy. Very good product for the price.

Love it!
After I used a container of ready made cement from Amazon to fill in a large crack, I used this cement paint in gray and added a little brown acrylic paint since the label said it cleans up with water. I experimented with my back porch cement until I got the right color. The acrylic paint thinned it out a little - just enough I think - and I applied it with a cellulose sponge I got from the Dollar Store. I painted the patch and the entire walkway. I didn’t want a perfect even color - I wanted it to look mottled just enough to blend in with the light colored patch. The finished product is in the second photo. The cement and paint are perfect as you can see. I will put a second coat of paint on it in the spring. So happy with the results. Looks professional to me.

Why bad reviews?!
I waited to long to try this cuase of all the bad reviews but after redoing my front porch I ended up doing the whole walkway and ally in my back area to. If it was cheaper I'd redo my drive also. I waited over a year to write this so I can say it's worth it. I did have to figure out what worked best as far as the way you paint it on. I use a small roller and would pour the paint out in small amounts then kinda spread it in the area that I need it w my roller. I would do small sections and then move on. This worked out great considering I could only buy one can at a time cuz of how much they are (I normally waited for "used" cans so it wasn't to bad). But I've had very little issues as far as cracking from weather and I live in deep east Texas so it rains a lot and I'm in a flood zone so I feel like if it was going to it would have. I see a lot of these bad reviews are people that painted on wrong or didn't follow directions prior to putting it on. I had previously power washed all these areas to make sure that anything loose was off. It massively upgraded my curb appeal which is great because this is a old house that we bought and do not have the finances to completely redo everything. All in all outside of cost it's great

looks great but super expensive
The product looks great and feels great when walking on it. It has kind of a rubbery feel when walking on it. The only problem I have with it is you don't get much coverage for the price you pay. Fifty square feet that takes 2 coats is not very good coverage. And believe me it takes all 2 coats. You'll be very disappointed if you try to get away with just one. I can't speak to the durability and longevity of it because I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it does look and feel great. I am very pleased with the way it turned out as it has a much better look and feel than a regular paint. If you don't mind spending the money then I would recommend you go for it.
