Absolutely great for the price.
Very lightweight for the size and amazing value for the price. Initial examination without taking everything out is that it is decent Mylar. Seems reflective enough but not as thick as the more expensive types. The beauty though is the layering. You can be in the sleeping bag, in the tube tent, and use the blanket as a fly or a door or another layer to keep warm. Perfect fit for my lighter weight day pack so I can have a shelter that will get me by for a couple of nights if need be. Just need some kind of rope/cord. The ability to make “buttons” to tie to. And a knife to make tent pegs and you should be all good for a quick survival shelter. Then you can spend the time getting fire and wood or piling debris on to help insulate more.

The PERFECT emergency shelter kit!
Gods forbid that I ever have to use anything in the kit, but if I do, whether for myself or someone in need on a trail or out in the wilds, I'll be happy to tap into this reserve for the purpose of helping in the situation. The whole kit is light-weight and is quite flat. It fits perfect in my pack or satchel and is unobtrusive in relation to the rest of my gear when everything is fully loaded for a hike or outdoor excursion.

Inexpensive,but easy to pack,small.
Blanket....tiny, Sleeping bag....tiny,Tent small. But between the three there's enough mylar to survive I believe.
