Great retrofit for sunglasses
These stick-on lenses have been great after a month of use. The optical quality (-1.50 diopter) is very good and the lenses clean easily. They were easy to apply and have stayed affixed to my sunglasses.I neglected to request progressive/bifocal lenses for near distance viewing when I ordered my last pair of prescription sunglasses. The stick-ons are an easy add-on to make it possible to read my car's dashboard, bicycle computer, or smartphone screen. I often get sweat on my glasses while I ride my bike and also clean the lenses and was worried the stick-on lenses would slip if I got moisture under the edge, but with a little bit of care the lenses haven't moved at all after dozens of rides and cleaning with spray-on lens cleaner and wiping with a cloth.I suggest trying them out before trimming (except in obviously too-narrow lenses). I thought I would want to trim the stick-on lenses because they looked very tall, but after trying them out unmodified, I'm glad I left them alone because the size is just right. On my glasses the stick-ons take about 2/5th of the height of the sunglass lenses.

Not clear enough to see through
I have minimal old age near vision blurriness. I need 1.50 readers to see well. I ordered these to adapt some sunglasses for multi-use. First of all, I had trouble getting these to adhere to the curve of my glasses lenses. Second, they are not at all like wearing bifocals with the curved part of the lens built in. There is a distinct line that is hard to ignore. But, the part that makes these unusable for me, is the blurriness of looking through these. Maybe it is the fact that water is used to “adhere” them. Or maybe it is what they are made of, either way, these are not the solution I was looking for. They are able to be trimmed to fit your glasses if needed. Unfortunately, I trimmed one before realizing how horrible they were to see through. Not sure if they are returnable now.

Lenses work great. Seller not so great.
PRODUCT ****, SELLER *:These stick on lenses work great as listed. The product provides a simple yet clever way to doctor up your sunglasses. I heard about these stick on lenses but couldn't find them anywhere in the U.S. until I checked Amazon and found this seller. The seller gets a 1 star review because I paid $7 extra to expedite shipping and still took over 10 days for them to arrive. When the lenses finally arrived the lens box was stuffed into a letter sized envelope with $ 1.69 worth of postage. Here's the best part, and I wish I would have photographed this, the envelope was scotch taped together and tragically underneath the tape were a few curly hairs. Yes under the scotch tape were a few black curly hairs. Very carefully I untaped the envelop and pulled out the FACTORY SEALED BOX WITH LENSES. I washed my hands then followed the simple instructions on the box and everything worked perfectly I just wish I could get the horrible image of those curly hairs out of my mind.

Cutting the lens down to size... a larger exercise than I thought it would be
I purchased the +1.50 strength. Out of the package the lenses stuck to inside of my sunglasses easily, using warm water. In the first pic, the lenses were too tall interfering with normal level vision. The second pic is just for reference showing how curved my sunglasses are. Then I went to trim them down. Using a new #11 X-acto blade, my first attempt to trim went poorly. I attempted to cut through the entire lens with out scoring first to get the smoothest edge possible. Well, I ran into a few issues. The plastic is THICK, my straight edge and cutting surface were clean and did not cling to the lens. My first try, the lens moved as I tried to cut through in one pass. On the next try, I did better since I had scored the lens but towards the end of the cut the lens stretched so the final cut was not straight. Since there was no chance of a single clean cut, I continued to work until I got a fairly even cut on both lenses. I shaved of approximately 3mm off of each. When remounting the lenses, one side went on easily with warm water. The other side was a major struggle. I tried warm water and it wasn't happening. After pressing down, one edge immediately started to lift off and an air pocket grew until the lens flattened out and was no longer adhering. I then went to using hotter and hotter water, trying not get the plastic too hot to distort. The final solution was water that was not boiling but too hot to submerge the lens with my fingers. I used chopsticks :) Only then was I able to make the fickle lens mount. The 3rd pic is of the trimmed and mounted lenses. In the end, they work okay. I got the lenses so when I'm wearing contacts and sunglasses, I don't have to swap with reading glasses. Potential buyers should be aware that if they have to trim them down, the cutting part may be a challenge and expectations should be set accordingly. If the cut is not clean, the edge is more visible. I believe the finicky lens was not cut straight enough, giving it just enough of an excuse to peel up. Using hot water as mentioned by another reviewer did solve this issue without further trimming. While I did not experience any issues with the lenses in hot water, too hot water could lead to damaging the plastic (stretching or warping). Take your time and go in gradual steps. This was more of a challenge than I was expecting, my crafting skills were not up to my "plan" to one clean cut. Took way longer than I expected. I hope this helps if anyone runs into the same issues. (Your mileage may vary ;))

Perfect for me!
For years I wished my old Ray-Bans were progressive readers. I hated having to constantly switch from sunglasses to readers. They do make them but they are expensive. Anyway, this seemed too good to be true but it wasn't. The install was super easy, and I'm glad that it isn't applied with a sticky film that would ruin my glasses. I'll be able to pop these out and replace if need be. You have to be careful placing them in but if you screw up, it's only water, you can pop em out, clean and try again. I've never had bifocals before but it doesn't bother me like a lot of people are claiming in the reviews. It's a slight adjustment but being able to drive with sunglasses on, and able to look down and everything on my dash is in focus... that's great. And being able to brunch outdoors with sunglasses on AND also being able to read a menu and my phone without looking like a grandpa switching glasses... that's just awesome. Great product. I wish I would have had these years ago.
