Display of voltage works only when switch is on, blank if off. Display is muted, not as bright as in the photos. If switch is wired without the negative monitoring lead, it will function without the voltage display.

It feels like a well-made item and it works as it should. The voltage does not illuminate, but I can't remember if I bought one that is supposed to. But it shuts my system power down before moving!

Even in the off position I'm still getting the voltage readout which is probably going to drain the battery as well it's not in use. Any answers for this?
