Better than the big name brands
This air conditioner is a tank in a good way. It is on wheels so it is easy to move around. It comes with two hoses and the window piece so you can use it as an inverter which it is so quiet you don’t even know it is running when you have it on inverter mode. I turned it on in my bedroom to test it out and it cool down my bedroom in five minutes granted it is maybe 100 ft.² but I don’t see why this would not cool down 500 ft.² with ease. I was looking for a portable air conditioner that was not one of the big name brands because let’s be honest, they all have their faults. This brand promises top-tier customer support as they will reimburse you 50% if they do not answer your emails with an X amount of time. You can tell that this brand actually cares. I highly recommend this as I do not usually go on customer review rants like this. This air conditioner also collects the condensate and turns it into water vapors, which is then released through one of the hoses in your window as long as it is under around 85% humidity, which is completely understandable because if it is higher than that in humidity, I don’t see many Air conditioners even home air conditioners, keeping up. Like I said highly recommended over the big name brands and thank you for putting out a great product.

this machine is a beast
Everything about this machine is TOP NOTCH. The REMOTE took some figuring out, how to toggle it, then apply the FAN last. But once figured out the REMOTE is awesome. The machine itself works well with INVERTER MODE, FULL COOL MODE and just FAN, I don't remove humidity as I like my skin and lips moist. I have the machine in a TUB so no LEAKS can damage my wood floor. I did not cut the window plastic template piece that holds the TWO hoses as they show, instead I drew the circle that would fit the 2nd HOSE and cut-it-out so I have TWO holes in the plastic strip (so not cut off on the end but a "hose fit" circle in the center that matches the other given hole), it is much more solid this way. The machine does fill up a separate tub with water quite quickly on very hot days, I learned this quickly by seeing water on my wood floor when only using a cup, so have a separate water tub next to the the tub holding the machine, just for water, at least if you are in a humid area, these larger water tubs can last a couple of weeks now. Did I mention I live in Washington State, and I guess the humidity is high in the PNW. I have practiced cooling my master bedroom at the far end of the hall in my house and seeing how much this cool air will filter out to the Hallway & Living room, Dining Room and Kitchen and Bathroom. I have noticed on FULL COOL mode at about 67 I get some carry flow the the other rooms, the key is start the Gasbye in the morning BEFORE the hot day starts, as it "maintains" the cool better than "lowering" the cool on super hot days. I typically run the GasBye on "Inverter Mode" and on "Full Cool Mode" intermittently, I don't tax the GASBYE by running it on full LOW (64 degrees), the lowest setting. Overall, I have had this machine about one month and I am very happy with this TWO HOSE machine. A great purchase. No issues, and no complaints. UPDATE: winterized the GasBye by breaking the hoses out of the window and sliding the AC into the closet in its holding tub, ready for next summer. --Worth every penny..!!!

Good solid dual hose ac unit.
After dealing with many single hose ac units over the years in the hot days of Florida and even Michigan, I finally caved and decided to dig my pockets deeper for a dual hose. I was pleasantly surprised how good and efficient these are. This unit especially surprised me because of how much cheaper it was compared to other units. I mean it won't cool a whole house by itself, but it sure will make the room its in quite cold. The exhaust hose gets quite hot and you're definitely going to want to buy insulation for it. Which is a good thing. The customer support is very good as well. My window stands tall at 58 inches and the window support bracket the unit came with wasn't enough to cover the whole window. Not sure if that was a mistake on their end in not providing enough brackets for large windows. But I contacted their customer support about it and they sent a spare window covering free of charge and without question. A+ on that.So I also went ahead and metered the units energy usage, and using a kill-a-watt meter I was able to come with these findings.Fan only High - 23 WattsFan only Low - 13 WattsCool 70 High and Low - 675 Average watts (energy slowly rises from 500w)Cool TURBO - 730 WattsINVERTER auto - 640 WattsDehumidify auto - 660 WattsThis is neat because almost all single tube cheap AC units eat up like 800-900 watts of power. For the price, the quick and efficient customer support, the cooling power and much less use of energy, I am pretty happy with the unit. The remote control is funky in that, it doesn't work well if you use the units own buttons for AC controls and then use the remote. You can use both, but the system seems to get confused if you switch between the two in one session. No biggie, it works. The whole thing works very well.Update: Disregard the wattage usage above. I understand more of how this unit functions now. So on the display there are zero to 4 little blue bars below the temperature setting display. Thats how much power the compressor is using to cool better. On its lowest compressor power output, which is one bar, the unit uses around 650 watts. When the unit is in Turbo mode and all 4 bars are present, this unit uses 1260 watts of power. It does the job really well, so this is not a negative. Just be aware of my misleading review
