Great product!!
We use this almost everyday! The magnet clicks onto our fridge so it’s easy to access. Easy to clean & functional. Has brought us ease knowing our meat is cooked to temperature. Easy to read & definitely worth the money!

High quality and temp accuracy and looks and feels classy
I am probably a bit embarrassed at how much time I spent on the internet researching which replacement cooking thermometer after the good one we had for a decade, unfortunately finally gave up the ghost during our Christmas holiday cooking season. I settled on this one based on its posted specifications and customer reviews. It is slightly larger than our former cooking thermometer, but this is probably so in order to accommodate its nice, large temperature display which is a welcome upgrade to our old, formerly reliable thermometer. You can take the temperature with the probe bent which was handy the other day while reaching through the oven shelves, and the function is very intuitive - just hold in the power button to turn it off, though it states in the owners manual that it will shut off by itself after a reasonable period if you forget to push & hold the power button. Finally, it looks classy and the red LED characters stand out nicely in our bright kitchen lights.

Value for money
This is my first ever kitchen thermometer so I can't speak to how the thermopro compares to other brands, either in build quality, accuracy, or ease of use. Having said that, I'm quite happy with it so far. From my limited testing, it reads temps more or less accurate-freshly boiled water read 214.2 F and when I stuck it in the fridge for 5 minutes it was only off by .6 F from what was displayed. The build quality isn't the best, it feels plastic-y in the way cheap plastic toys tend to, but for just over $20 I can't really complain. Other's have complained about buttons- or lack thereof, but I found the touchpad works fine and has reasonable sensitivity settings. The display numbers are large and easy to read and the magnets on the back make for a convenient means for storing it on the fridge.All-in-all I'd say it's a great value for money.Edit: 7/8/2020- 2-ish months of use.So, after about 2 months of use, the only issue I've come across is that one of the magnets on the back of thethermometer fell off. It's a simple fix: some superglue and a little time, but it's still an annoyance that shouldn't have occurred after only 2 months. It's still a good, cheap thermometer, but I'd dock it 1/2 star for the build quality fail.

Great thermometer, be careful when cleaning
Works great, fast and accurate, magnets are helpful. Use care when cleaning the probe, I was drying mine after cleaning and must have gripped it just a little too much with the towel and the probe pulled out from the body of the thermometer. Otherwise no complaints after 3 years of frequent use, I just ordered a replacement.

Good thermometer but if using rechargeable AAAs make sure they are 1.5v
I got this thermometer specifically because it uses AAA batteries, while many other thermometers use disposable button batteries. I have a ton of rechargeables on hand, some of which have been in use for 10+ years, which is a lot more convenient and environment friendly than stocking disposable batteries, so I prefer using rechargeable AAAs.The thermometer itself is great, seems to be pretty accurate to within 1°, and I've been using mine for about 2 years now and it's still going strong. Love the magnets on the back as it allows me to just stick the thermometer on the vent hood above the stove for quick access, and the large LCD display is very bright and easy to read.It does however have one design flaw: When the thermometer detects a low battery, it replaces your temperature reading on the display with "Lo". This becomes very obnoxious because it takes a few seconds for it to return to your temp reading. The "Lo" will continue to replace your reading every several seconds, making the product tedious to use until you replace the battery. This would not be a problem if the "Lo" only appeared when the batteries are ACTUALLY low, but the problem is that they seem to have designed this with only 1.5v AAAs in mind and clearly did not test it with common 1.2v NiMH rechargeable batteries, which is mind boggling. Even when you put in fully charged NiMH batteries, it will still detect it as a low battery, and obnoxiously replace your temperature reading with "Lo" every few seconds. The thermometer itself has no issue running on 1.2v NiMH rechargeables, but it's practically unusable due to the temperature readout constantly being replaced with "Lo".Fortunately, 1.5v Li-Ion AAA rechargeable batteries are a thing, so I started using these instead and the "Lo" problem disappeared.ThermoPro, if you ever read this, maybe make your products compatible with 1.2v rechargeables, or make a low battery indicator off to the side which does not interfere with the temperature reading.
