Adjusting shower temp is an exercise in futility
I hate this thing. I've had it for a few years. Pain in the ass when I first got it but I figured that since I paid my plumber to install it, I wasn't going to pay twice. I figured I'd figure out how to make it work. If it's too hot, I'd turn the heat down a bit and then the maching shuts off and I freeze my ass. I tried every possible adjustment and as soon as it would start beoming somewhat manageable, the season would change and I'd start from scratch. I requested a return very late. Never heard back.

Using for above ground pool heater
I use this unit in a non-typical manner but it has worked out great for heating our above ground pool in the late fall here in east Texas. We intend to use it in early spring as well.

waste of time so far
I used it for guest house in the back for one bathroom and small kitchen. After many phone calls to the seller months ago I played with switch ignitor and it started working during summer time, about a week ago stopped heating up the water....hours playing with knobs for temp/gas ...nothing it wont get hotter than 30 Celsius ..NOT ENOUGH even for Los Angeles mornings ...Sucks I have a tech coming out and most likely will say replace the junk!!!
