Today, children spend more hours a day staring at screens or even two or more screens at once -watching TV while playing on a mobile phone. Technology moves so fast, and children have embraced it so quickly, but children who regularly use electronic devices for the purpose of playing games and having fun may see developmental issues down the line. It has been well-studied that increased screen time decreases a child's mental development, creativity, and productivity. The idea of encouraging children to engage themselves more in real life objects while not loosing fun with technology and science crossed our mind. HoneyComb Music kit unlocks your children’s creative potential and help them to develop their minds and increase their productivity as well as experience the pleasure of playing various musical instruments. You can practically turn any conductive object into a musical instrument, so you and your child can explore together, discovering that everything can be musical. What makes your product special? So its name and shape were all set and we made the first set of prototypes, including LED, Buzzer, Relay and Servo blocks. But that’s just not enough. To help people make amazing works, we had to incorporate state-of-the-art blocks, so we tried cool sensors like MIDI, camera, IoT, mind control, leap motion, VR traveling, voice and gesture recognition. To lower the threshold of learning, all blocks were made interchangeable and nicely sealed. It’s us that should worry about technical details, and you worry about creativity. We wanted people to only focus on creativity rather than lost in details. Just to be on the safe side, we decided to launch our first 3 kits: Music Kit: the world is your oyster; Camera Kit: call the shots; IoT Kit: connect the dots. Honeycomb hides all the technical details that has been troubling non-computer majors and enables them only to focus on logic thinking and creativity.
