Tasty, Nutritious & Good Value
I really like these red lentils as they're tasty and good value. I regularly buy them now as part of my Amazon Pantry orders and usually use them in veggie soups, which always taste yummy and are also nutritious and filling. They could also be used in veggie burgers too, which I'm on a bit of a roll with at the moment, never having made any before until a couple of weeks ago and now I realize how easy they are to make, and how tasty they are, I want to make them all the time!! :-)

Cheap and Healthy
These are cheap and easy to use cook. I use them to bulk out sauces and mice. They give a great illusion of meat and are filling. I now no longer use mince to make spaghetti bolognaise and my children haven't noticed.

Red split lentils
These are very good lentils. I use them in curry, soup, stews etc. I soak them overnight in water with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. In the morning they have doubled in size then they do not take as long to cook. They make an excellent alternative to potatoes. A very nutritional food.

Ideal store cupboard item for stews and soups
These are good value and use them a lot in my slow cooker to make delicious lentil soup, veg stews and curries. Perfect for my Vegan daughter and Vegetarians friends.

Makes great home made soups
Good value for money, if you soak the lentils first for 30 mins they swell so you dont need too much if you are making soup in a soup maker.
