Huge Difference.
Needed to treat my studio room (small rectangular bedroom) with an effective but budget solution. These panels are brilliant and have killed most of those nasty reflections. I think for the price, what you get is excellent value. My vocal recordings have much improved, as have my mixes. It took me a while to decide how to actually put them on the wall. I wanted to make sure they don't fall off but also don't completely destroy the walls. I used industrial Velcro, purchased very cheap from Halfords - think it cost me around £5-8 for a large roll of which I still have 3 quarters left. It was very quick and easy to put the panels up. I only needed one tiny strip for each panel and an equally sized strip on the wall. Very simple and only slight 'damage' to walls if I ever have to take them down. The panels arrived about 2 days after ordering too which was great. Well packaged.I would recommend mounting the panels in blocks of 4, each with grooves facing the opposite direction to its neighbouring panel. If you're on a budget, but need an effective treatment - this is definitely worth it.

Good value for money
This is not the last word in acoustic solutions, it's just a cheap fix but I'm giving it 4 stars because it met well with my expectations.I'm treating a spare bedroom that's used as a recording studio. I don't use live drums and virtually everything else is recoded through audio interfaces but I wanted to be able to record vocals and of course critical listening so while I plan to add a few bass traps, there aren't many frequencies that I need worry about too much. The main concern was flutter from a smallish room (10' sq) with solid walls. Anyone who's tried to get a helf decent vocal recording in a bedroom knows what I mean.I've used all of them on 3 walls and I do need to buy some more as well as sort out some sound-proofing issues with external noise from windows and a vent being picked up but there is a marked improvement that I notice when plugging in a mic and listening on headphones, another test i do is simply walking from room to room snapping my fingers with my eyes closed. The biggest problem I found was mounting. didn't want to use spray mount in case I couldn't get them off the walls for redecorating and any kind of sticky pad I used simply wouldn't stay stuck to the tile. in the end I cut up a few piles of used paper into large triangles, stiuck them to the corners of the tiles with spray mount then left them to dry before sticking them to the walls with cheap double-sided pads. a few have had to be re-stuck but on the whole it's holding up.

Worth every penny
I was shocked by the improvement these afforded. I placed them on the rear wall, opposite the monitors and a few on the side walls. The sound is now more directional, coming squarely from the monitors and stereo separation is much better. I did not find an excessive loss of higher frequencies. Indeed, the frequencies now seem flatter and more neutral but without the negative connotations that one may think. Im not a professional but I can envisage that this will all help with sound mixing. Overall - a lot of bang for your buck and heartily recommended.

Pleasant Surprise
Was not expecting much when I purchased this for my new rehearsal space but once put up, you could hear the dramatic difference in sound in the room. This stuff really does absorb sound. Used it for acoustic treating so cannot say for soundproofing but it seems to be doing a great job and we didn't even use it on all of the wall. Definitely considering using it in the recording studio as well.

These are great but to fix them to the walls I advise using no nails glue or equivalent. Forget the adhesive strip things that are sold to use with acoustic tiles. They were useless for. Me at least. But then again my walls aren't totally flat but are wood chipp wall paper but still, The b and q own brand equivalent of no nails was the best as I went through quite a few tubes and bought different brands.

Arrived super quick. As per last review, mine too were much lighter than shown in the picture. This should be sorted.
