Touch and Feel: Never Touch a Dinosaur Board book – February 21, 2017

Our little guy LOVES this book. He's almost 6 months and I got it because he started to touch and scratch the regular books, trying to feel the pages. Now, he scratches the front of the book constantly, trying to figure out the texture. You can just see his little mind working. He's not too interested in the story (obviously, because he's a little young), but loves to scratch the pages. As a parent, the storyline is alright, but really you're just looking for the textures and the bright colors. My only wish is that this book had more pages and more textures like the front of the book to scratch at, but we'll just have to buy the other books!

This is my baby's favorite book, from about 4 months on. She loves textures and I think the silicone is easier for her to touch and feel compared to the usual faux fur type texture books. She tends to yank the fuzz out of those. I did have to scrub it pretty good when it first arrived as it had dust from the warehouse. It needs to be cleaned intermittently as it attracts dirt easily, but she loves it so much it is worth it.

It was my duty to get some new books for our church nursery. After visiting my niece, I found she had a couple of books from this series including this one and Never Touch a Monster! I looked at them an immediately took a pic to remember them because they are such cute books!! What I love about these books are the fun rubbery places to touch, nice and sturdy for lots of little hands in a nursery. The bright colors, the fonts and the pics are so adorable. Incredibly well-done and very visually appealing, I love these books and will order them whenever I have a baby gift to give!

This book has different silicone textures and patterns embossed into the pages. Our baby has loved scratching and exploring the textures since I bought this for her. The book has hard pages which makes it easy for baby to flip through the pages when they have learned that skill. Also, the bright colors engage baby and keep them entertained. It’s a good book that parents can read to their babies. I have read it so many times that I have almost memorized the book.

My baby has loved this book for many months. It was one of his first favorite books. We tried others from the series, but nothing ever really caught his imagination like this one. At this point, the book is not quite as compelling as it was, but then, none of his other books are right now. I think he has less patience for books as he learns to crawl and stand. Perhaps books will get more interesting again after he masters some basic skills...

Very cute book that my son always picked to read at the store so I figured it was time to own one. He has SPD and the feel of the dinosaurs is a big hit! My only complaint is that "claws" and "doors" only rhyme if you have a specific regional accent 🤣 but he thinks it's funny that I say that one page like a southern belle

I purchased this book for my 9 month old boys and they love it! It has a simple story with rhyming text on one side and on the other are dinosaurs that you can touch and feel.I like that the material is rubber and is different than most touch and feel books. My boys really enjoy the different texture.The only con is that the book has not held up well to my twins rough play. The pages started to tear away from the spine. We taped it back together and they still love it.

One of my toddlers favorite books. She loves the silicone sensory pads, and is always so excited to read this book with me. The rhymes in the book are a lot of fun, and the book itself is a well written child's book. The book has held up well against her rough handling and chewing and spilling water on it, and all of the silicone sensory pads are still in place. I definitely recommend this book, and will most likely be buying another one as a gift for my friends kids.
