If you can afford to spring for the Toppik product, it is definitely the gold standard–you get what you pay for. The Toppik fibers are much finer and do not clump together. Because the premium Toppik product is so expensive, I am willing to step down to the lesser-quality Sampson Hair Fibers, which still does a very decent job of thickening the hair. Since the Sampson fibers are more dense, and therefore more wool-like, you will need to enlarge the dispersal holes on your original Toppik applicator bottle (if that is where you are coming from). I used a drill for this purpose. All taken together, if $50 per month for Toppik is not cause for alarm, I would definitely recommend sticking to that product. If you are on a tighter budget, the Sampson product is a good-to-fair replacement (at a fraction of the price) and definitely worth a try.

This product is amazing and seriously won't leave home without it. I have thinning hair on top and was losing my self confidence until I discovered hair building fibers. I love this product and it has changed my life drastically for the better. I style my hair like usual and separate my hair with my fingers in rows on the top of my head and sprinkle this in, fluff hair, spray with hairspray and it's like I'm younger with lots of hair again. It hides the balding spots, adds volume, it has a good color, lasts all day, and a great price. I don't know what I would do without it. I love the super size to make sure I'm never without. I can't say enough great things about this product. If you have thinning hair, pick a color closest to your hair color and try it.

I have been using this brand of hair fiber for several years now and it works well to cover my bare spots. However, lately, when I received the fiber, they feel lumpy not as fine and loose as the Cabooki ones that I bought before. When I shake the bottle with this fiber on my bare spot, the loose ones will come out first and the lumpy ones stay behind at the bottom of the bottle. I wish they are finer so I can use all of them to the last bit.

I can't express how pleased I am with the hair fibers. I am very very thin on the entire top side of my head, and after I put a med brown base down, I sprinkle the light brown in and its almost impossible to tell I have anything in my hair. It simply looks like my own real hair. I've taken years off my age (28) and this gives me another chance at life being able to have my confidence around women. I've literally dated a girl for 2 years without much suspicion. Running hands through your hair or swimming is the only way it will ruin it. This product is responsible for a better quality of life.

Works as well as Xfusion or Toppik, but found it tends to clump more and clogs my pump/spray applicator. One plus is that it promotes recycling of the other hair fiber brands containers.

When I was on Amazon searching I saw “Samson Hair Fibers by Keratin Research” I ordered it and I’m very happy with the product at a fraction of the price I used to pay. I have and will continue to recommend this product and I will reorder again in the future. The packaging and pricing is a five star to me. I sprinkle a little on my thinning spot in the back and the fibers hide the thinning, my coworkers and friends can’t even tell I’m thinning.

If you are thinning, and would like your hair to look fuller, trust me, this is the perfect product for you (or whoever you buy it for). I purchased this product for a relative, and he is very happy with it. Just choose the color that suits you best (you may have to purchase different colors to get it right), practice a couple of times until you get it right, spray some hair spray on your whole head, and voila!!! It looks like real hair--for some strange reason. It's fabulous. It doesn't look like black eyeshadow, or anything. It simply looks like hair. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, until you get it right, and don't loose hope.
