Couldn't be happier with this purchase, my dog and I love adventures but he's so hyper it was gard to take him anywhere in the sedan I had. I got a SUV with a huge cargo area perfect for a sort of built in dog crate. All I needed was a barrier between the back area and the rear seat, I found this ordered it came fast setup was extremely straightforward. Works way better than I expected and he jumped on it twice 100 pound dog and it didn't budge. I 100% recommend for us dog lovers its literally a life saver and I love the time we can spend together now ❤️ ♥️ 💖

Was good at keeping the dog in the back. Was slightly challenging putting up so there was no space for the dog to crawl through but works great after install and excellent quality. I feel the design could have been better the durability is good though

This grate was the perfect, sturdy solution I needed. My dogs ride in the second row seats, in a dog hammock, wearing harnesses with tethers hooked to the child seat attachment rail. This allows them to sit or lie down, and keeps them out of the front seats.But when we switched from a sedan to an SUV, we discovered that my young knucklehead could jump over his seatback into the third row / cargo area. Fortunately, he wasn’t injured, but he was immobilized by his tether and was very uncomfortable until we managed to get him free. We needed something to keep him in his seat, and it had to be sturdy!This grate was perfect. I appreciated that it came with the attachment plates already assembled on the center section, so I didn’t have to figure out how they worked. I just took them off, lined up the side sections to fit, and reattached them. A couple of tips:1. Measure your car’s width in the installation area, then line up the side sections to fit. By the time I took the grate out to the car, it was already set to the perfect width.2. You need a second person to help attach the grate. One person should be behind the grate fastening straps, and one in the second row holding the grate steady and passing back the strap ends. You can do the installation in about 30 seconds with two people cooperating.I wasn’t sure if just two attachment points would be stable enough, but my strong young doggo (on the right in the photo) got excited and hit it pretty hard one time, and I didn’t even have to tighten the straps afterwards. After that one time, he stopped testing it, so he must have decided it was pretty sturdy.It also looks OK, is easy to see through, and doesn’t rub against the car. It ought to fit just about any vehicle, since it attaches to the headrests. You could remove it very quickly if necessary, and people could still ride in the third row with this grate installed. Very happy with this solution!

Fits recent model Subaru outback with no issues and gets the job done. Our small dog can’t get around it! Good value compared to more expensive options.

You get what you pay for. It did the job for me. Keeps FIDO in the rear of the SUV.

I have two dogs, one who gets very anxious (90 lb Pit Bull Mix) in car rides and is all over the place. I always felt unsafe while driving with him in the car without a proper barrier to keep him safely secured in the back. Plus, I got a new car and I didn't want the dogs jumping all over and scratching it. Sadly, my car doesn't have trunk space in the back for them to be, so the only safe place to put them in is the back seats. Before I got this I had one of those that stand up from the floor to top. Which always fell off easily. So, I needed to look for something else and quickly. So, after looking up different options on Amazon I decided on this one. I am happy that I did. It stays secure in place and doesn't move. It's easy to put together and take on and off. Though a dog might be able to fit through the middle part but I don't have to worry about that because I always have my dog seat covers on that prevents them from going on the floor seats of my car. I love this barrier. I attach their water bowls with a latch on the bars. It looks nice and you can still easily see in the back when driving. This is perfect for my small car and keeping my dogs safely secured in the back seat. Very happy with this purchase. I would suggest getting a car seat cover like that as well.
