Good solution
If you Google white willow bark, you can read about its uses and benefits. I got for one specific purpose, and it did help somewhat though not quite as strongly as I was hoping. The product itself though has a decent taste, kind of earthy, and the company is honest and straightforward about their product.

‼️Always obtain 3rd party lab results to ensure your safety before trying a new product‼️
The media could not be loaded. Connor and Renae’s apothecary is an adorable small business located in Utah! They make all of their own products so it’s clean and trustworthy. Their website says it best, “We wanted pure, clean, organic products that are not being stored in plastics. We wanted to know that our supplements actually contain what they say they do. We wanted to know that the herbs were carefully sourced from the best organic farms - because we want the best for our own family. We couldn't find anything that met our high standards, so we created it.”This smells, tastes, and looks like Willow Bark. It has that characteristic dark hue and bitter earthy taste. Per amazons community guidelines I cannot comment on the efficacy or benefits of Willow Bark, but it is a very versatile herb for topical and oral use. Please do a quick google search to see the many benefits, as well as what personal dosing is best for you. Always start on the lower end of the recommended dose so you can make sure you don’t have any adverse reactions.‼️‼️ After emailing with them they confirmed they were happy to share additional information, like where the Willow bark was sourced from and the 3rd party lab results. I am so happy with their transparency and fast response time! I am still waiting to hear back but will update this review once I receive the official results. Before trying a new product- especially if ingested instead of used topically- I can’t stress how important it is (no matter how nice a company looks) to make sure you see unbiased 3rd party lab results with the name of the lab that ran the tests, and actual number values of heavy metals like lead, arsenic, etc as well as microbial content like mycotoxins. Obtaining a COA (certificate of analysis) is always extremely important to know that the amount of the active ingredient claimed to be in there actually is.Update: the Willow bark is sourced from Croatia. Per Renae’s email: “It is from a USDA certified organic farm. Every single ingredient we use is USDA certified organic. Including the vegetable glycerin (from flax). The USDA organic certifier will randomly come in and do tests on the ingredients to make sure they are all in fact organic.”-She was extremely helpful in sending the lab info over- they use Summit nutritional labs in Spanish Fork Utah to do their 3rd party testing.-We are waiting on copies of the reports still but I suspect that everything will look great! More updates to come soon…

Not unpleasant-tasting
This is actually somewhat pleasant tasting. As I know aspirin is a synthesized form of the active ingredient in willow bark, I was hoping to use this extract as an alternative to ibuprofen when I had pain from orthodontia. I did not find it effective for that purpose, but my expectations might just have been too high. I also tried it with mild musculature pain and found it to be soothing.

Must Have
White willow is native to North America, northern Asia, and much of Africa. This plant is a low-growing deciduous tree bearing long, green, tapering leaves and catkins in spring. The grey-brown bark is stripped from young trees in the spring. Salix alba is commonly steeped as a tea or tinctured. This white willow extract is made with care and quality. This liquid tincture is earthy in flavor and aroma and is best taken in water or juice. White willow extract blends well with other extracts including turmeric, ginger, or devil’s claw. It can also be added to a cup of tea such as turmeric chai tea. I can’t cite the medicinal benefits as Amazon prohibits that, a simple search into this will prove this tincture valuable.

Not a fan
I really didn’t like the flavor of this. While it might be good for you, it’s not something I can stomach. The taste seemed a little metallic or strange to me. I couldn’t get it out of my mouth for awhile afterwards so I have to say it’s a no go for me.

So far so good
This tincture is USDA Organic without added sugar or alcohol, all plusses in my book. The bottle will last awhile as you don't need to take too much. The taste is like many tinctures, not terrible, but a bit medicinal; honestly I prefer to taste the herbs than for them to cover them up with additives and sugar, so I'm okay with it.
