More than one reason to avoid this product.1. States suitable for multilock UPVC doors, and in some respects yes it is, but only if you use the current mortise and multi lock system in place already. This then means installation is very fiddly and tricky. The barrel change is the easiest part, but drilling new holes for the screws is a challenge due to not lining up with current lock. You also then have the issue of feeding the cable through, which requires another hole, and in my case would have gone straight through the current mortise. Fortunately I am relatively handy with DIY, and managed to remove the mortise and feed behind the mechanism. Finally got the unit installed, although took me approx. 4 hours total.2. Instructions for setting up are just the worst. The Tuya app is basically useless as everything has to be done on the handle/keypad unit. After many, many failed attempts I was finally able to add a new user, then was still unable to add the fingerprint. Could only use by PIN code or supplied Fob. I am very tech savvy, and majority of my home has smart tech in some shape or form, so definitely not user error.3. Installed brand new batteries in unit, in less then 4 hours, I received app alerts saying power low, half hour later, completely dead! Replaced batteries and tried again, same issue!Would I recommend? Not in my lifetime!Avoid at all cost! Recommend using a more reputable brand, ideally UK made if you can, like the replacement I have just got.

I have seen a lot of 1 star negative reviews about this lock but I've had it over a year now and have never had any issues. Only changed the batteries once.I installed it myself only took an hour, I'm buying another one for my back door

It’s on and working… still figuring out the settings, but it’s on there, can open and unlock my door with password and fingerprint so far! App is useless!It went on to my door almost as it was, I needed a hole for the cable and a small one for top bolt and just adjustment for the bottom bolt. I also needed a shorter spindle. I did no measurements before I ordered it…

The look is faulty and door knob does not unlock when the unlock sound says it is unlocked.

Clearly a used item that was wrapped and shipped back out as "new" (see photos). Had no idea know what should be included within the box as the instructions were also missing. Sent back immediately after paying for a brand-new item!

I like this smart external door smart lock. However, getting it into pair mode is a complete mystery! There’s no instructions how to achieve this! No where to ask questions? Help please!

Couldn't set it up even though I hired 2 different handyman to do it for me

The dimensions are wrong and so was too small to replace my lock. The images on Amazon show it either as 350mm or 360mm, this is incorrect as it is only 320mm as the top and bottom holes in my door are 320mm apart this item is too small.
