I purchased this charger about a week ago and so far it's not great. The charger never fully charges my vehicle (Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid). It always cuts off charging displaying that the vehicle is fully charged but in reality it's anywhere between 85 -95% charged. If I use a different charger, the van charges to full so it's definitely an issue with this charger in particular. Additionally, the latch button doesn't fully release the latch from the van at times, making it so I have to put unnecessary pressure on the charger to get it to release. I think over time it's either going to result in the charger's clip breaking or the receptacle in the van breaking. I don't think I would recommend this to others based on those problems.

My garage outlet shares the circuit breaker with a freezer. This EV charger allows me to set the maximum current to 10 amps leaving 5 amps for the freezer so both can operate at the same time without tripping the breaker. It works perfectly. It has a nice display with volts, amps and other charge information but once its going its a nice plug it in and forget about it charger. The cables are nice flex well so its easy to connect and disconnect then wrap over the holder for the cable I have. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a simple charger that the amperage is adjustable on.

Works pretty well, but always charges lower than the setting- i.e. 13 amps when you set it to 16. That said, the amperage options are a great feature- it's a life saver in some home outlets where the breaker is 15A, so you set it to 8A and can trickle charge without blowing a fuse.
