There is no way this is pure frankincense oil. It smells more like tea tree oil. I have bought REAL frankincense oil from legit sellers who are actually listed on the USDA organic database, so I know what pure frankincense oil is supposed to smell like, and this is nothing like it. I contacted them for an explanation but was completely ignored. So I got a refund from amazon and would never purchase anything from this company again.

This is a 30 ml Frankincense essential oil that I use for aromatherapy. They call Frankincense the king of oils : it has been in use for a while --they find evidence of its uses in Ancient Egypt according to Wikipedia- and depending on how you use it, it serves different purposes. I am not using for its anti-inflammatory properties but hoping it will work on allergies.The effect/ smell: I use this with an oil diffuser therefore I mix it with water and dilute it. Once diluted, it smells awesome - of course this is my point of view. The smell is acidic and earthy, very similar to the smell of rosin with a hint of orange/ grapefruit. It is very refreshing and clearing. It is not heavy, very light and cleansing smell and so far, I am loving it. If you are using without diluting it, then it might feel pungent and strong. Yet for aromatherapy, it is good.I received this product at a discounted price for my honest review. That is said, I do no overrate a product just because I receive it at a discounted price. If you do like refreshing, clearing perfumes, I think this might be the product for you. I did like this product a lot and I consider buying it again once the one I have is finished.

I like this oil and was appreciative of the fact that it was sold at a reasonable price. The packaging is adequate, bottle a good color of amber and the smell is great. Overall I am pleased with the product itself, but it does leave me with questions.I wanted to learn more of the extraction process of this oil, but when I searched for any sign of the company itself, I found ebay posts, Amazon.com posts and one Facebook page that left much to be desired. There was almost no information whatsoever to be found. There is no information as to how they obtain the oil, whether or not it is cut with a carrier oil, nothing. The bottle says it is 100% Frankincense oil, and it smells good, but as someone who would like to have the quality backed up, the lack of information concerned me.While I am pleased by the smell and packaging of the product, I am a little leary of a company that doesn't at least have the basics of their products readily available.
