This is a lot larger than I expected, which is good because my fledgeling blueberry bush was being outcompeted by weeds so this can keep the weeds down. I would have liked to have seen a hose screw on female adapter maybe. It takes awhile to fill this with the hose. However I did like that it watered the blueberry plant slowly over several hours. I can see what people are saying about it being too fast, but where I am at the sun would make the hot water balloon sale the plant I was trying to help. I do appreciate it was larger than I expected.

Bought this as we have apple trees planted at our cabin up north. Wanted to see if they work as expected. I filled this at 8 am on a Friday. The instructions say it will last 12 hours. When I checked at 8 pm, 12 hours later, it was still half full. I checked the next morning (24 hours later), there was still a fair amount of water in it. I will be getting more of these for my other trees. It is nice to know it will also help keep the weeds at bay.

Filled this last evening at 5:00 pm; by 8:00am today it was mostly empty. For me, that's the rate of watering I was hoping for, so I'm happy with that. This has only 3 "seep" holes; would prefer 5 or 6. Quality seems okay; I doubt it will last summer after summer. Years ago I had the Tree Gator brand of these donut / ring watering bag, which were excellent. But when I went to purchase them again, they no longer carry the ring style, only the upright bag style. My new trees have limbs close to the ground, so the upright bag style won't work, or I'd have paid extra for the Tree Gator brand. But so far, not unhappy with this Vego brand.

I was hoping these would drip over a couple of days. They were empty in less than 6 hours. Considering the time they take to fill, i could hand water. Any amount of slope and they don't empty. Waste of time and money.

This 16-gallon tree watering system works exactly as described! It slowly releases water around the tree base, which is perfect for my water-hungry willow tree. Made from quality, heavy-duty material, it’s easy to use and eliminates any worry about runoff. It’s huge and holds plenty of water, and the color makes it practically invisible in my yard. Great product!

Quality is good. Works good for little trees where the other taller bag-design doesn’t fit. However, it drains sooo slow, like 18 hours slow. So as it’s draining, the sun is cooking them. I stopped using them because they actually turned into mini heat packs, which doesn’t seem great for the ground and roots right around the trees. Also, they never fully drain. Each time they seemed to have 2-3 gallons left in the bag which would never drain.

Came in a timely manner, packaged well. I used this product for a muscadine grapevine I planted to help keep it watered. Works really well! Easy to fill & slowly trickled out. I plan on using it on my citrus trees next! It will save me lots of time!

First of all, it’s pretty big. I bought it for a Japanese maple in a planter. Hope it can squeeze in. And I have to say the bag is really well made. And it doesn’t have any odd plastic smell. The weep holes are well made and precise.
