Retro Clean 1Lb

I restore a lot of old dolls and their clothing is usually very dirty and fragile. This product is brilliant for being kind but also removing years of grime. It may sound expensive but you only need 3 tbs per gallon of water, so it lasts for ages. So glad I found it.

Had a yellowed out 80s dress, left this for 2 days (accidentally) and the dress is almost new. For fresher stains it works fairly quick- just a few hours soaking

Didn’t even let this old doll soak for more than two hours (instructions say it takes up to 48 hours) and it came up so well. Tried Vanish and even a little bleach to try get these old brown age stains out previously. Nothing but this worked. Best money I’ve spent in a long time. This doll was mine 30 years ago and it still shifted old stains no matter how embedded.

I was very sceptical about whether this product would work or not. My wedding dress is nearly 37 years old and despite being stored in a breathable dress bag which saw no light over this time, the dress had discoloured terribly. I saw reviews about this product and thought I would give it a go. I am totally amazed at how it has restored the colour to both my dress and my veil which were both brilliant white. There is still a little bit of discolouring on the lace of the dress and I think that is due to the materials used, but the veil is pristine white, just as it was back in 1988. An excellent product.

Product was easy to use and did what it claimed to do.I have just restored a 44 year old quilt which involved washing for the first time. I soaked it for 48 hours, rinsed and dried flat.All the dirt and stains were removed and non of the colours ran - a fantastic product

This is perfect for cleaning vintage clothing highly recommended

Amazing - extremely pleased with the results. Removed all the yellow stains and with no detriment to the fabric.
