This dehumidifier is just the perfect size for my living room and is silent so doesn’t disturb at all. Works perfect for my needs in the living room. This is small and not for a really moist environment. I have a larger dehumidifier downstairs that is a workhorse but also noisy.This one is perfect for small spaces where quiet is a premium.

To start, I didnt realize I hadn't left this review and the company reached out to make sure I was happy with the humidifier and offered solutions if I wasnt. At no point did they try to pressure me to leave a review, they just wanted to make sure everything was good with their product. 5 stars for that! Now for the humidifier it works wonderfully. Our apartment has a huge issue with leaky pipes bathroom and its taking a long time to get repaired. The room suffering the most being the bathroom. We were struggling with mold, mildew and starting to get ants and beetles there. The internet said a dehumidifier would help with all of that and that and this one was recommended in an article. It's been great in our bathroom. In the beginning we were emptying it twice a week and some of the pipes have been fixed so now we're down to once a week. I'd say thats a really good capacity for one bathroom. Our bathroom no longer attracts ants and beetles which is a huge plus. The mold and mildew has been so much easier to fight too. It does get pretty toasty with the door closed but that's part of how it works so no work around to that. Noise isn't an issue for us, it's quiter than the air purifier we have running in the next room.

Highly impressed with this little machine. It works efficiently and takes little space. Very easy to empty and its very quiet.

After spending a couple weeks with this dehumidifier, my verdict is that it works...for the price. After leaving it on all day for 2-3 days, the container gets ~1/4-1/3 full which means that it's doing something.Having had experience with other, more powerful dehumidifiers, this definitely is not able to match the capacity of the name-brand dehumidifiers. I wish it were more powerful, however, for the price (I got this on sale for at least half the price of a established name-brand dehumidifiers) it is able to take some moisture out of the air and may be useful if you just need a device that makes the room less humid. However, if you are truly trying to significantly lower the moisture in a room I would spring for a more powerful dehumidifier. I would also use it in a small room as this definitely isn't rated for a large basement or living room.Other than that, the design is quite sleek and the unit is quite small and able to be moved around easily/tucked away. The operation is basic with a simple on-off button. The bin is easy to remove and empty and has a floater for automatic shutoff if it gets full.

Was using damprid crystals to absorbe some of the moisture in the air in my bedroom. Those work fine but require maintenance and they don’t last long in the south. This humidifier seemed to have great reviews and a decent price. After running for 24hrs the humidity in the room dropped 5-7% and the damp, moist feel seems to be taken care of.Been running for a week straight during the day. The humidity levels have maintained and the large tank hasn’t even reached half capacity in that time.The blue LEDs are BRIGHT, even when off so, has to be unplugged or moved if lights bother you at night. It’s not loud, maybe as much as box fan which isn’t unbearable. We’ll see what kind of impact it has on the power bill but. So far, it’s made my poorly ventilated room feel dryer and the air more breathable.

Relatively quiet operation, easy to set up and use. Appears to work as advertised.

I’ve found this helpful to reduce the residual effects from a bathroom flood a year ago. We had a dehumidifier running for a month or so back when we first had the plumbing issue. The room primarily affected was our guest room so while we didn’t initially think there was a need for a continuous dehumidifier in that room, I suspect we were wrong. (We borrowed a dehumidifier from a family member back when we had the initial issue.)Background of why I think we should have kept a dehumidifier running: My oldest step kid started having a bad allergic reaction when her out of town boyfriend came to stay with us for a month. We knew part of it was fragrance related so we washed his clothes and gave him some of our soap. We also put a bunch of our air purifiers in her room and the guest room. But she was still having a reaction, primarily at night and when they went upstairs. I had read that reactions to mold tends to be worse at night so I figured I’d buy a dehumidifier and see if that helped. It seemed to help a bit!Either way, it definitely gathered a lot of water quickly in the beginning. After he left, she still had to keep the dehumidifier running because every time it filled up (and turned off) she would start breaking out again. I think for the first month I was dumping it weekly. Then the next month it was every other week. Now it doesn’t need to be emptied as often and better yet, she doesn’t start breaking out every time it shuts off. So I’d say this product works very well for reducing after effects of flooding even if you can’t smell mold and mildew, I think sometimes it’s still there (though that’s my guess based on the fact the dehumidifier kept getting a lot of liquid in the beginning and less now but also some of the problems we were having decreased too).

I was you yesterday reading the contradictory reviews wondering if it was any good and I can report that effectiveness wise that’s in a bedroom size space it work good. My apartment is older so window isn’t sealed the best and get a lot of moisture. Get condensation on window. Sometimes bed and clothes has a very mild damp feeling. Water soluble substances that are supposed to be crispy go damp with in first couple hours of bringing it into the room and within having this running for 5-6 hours now everything is dry as it should be and it has collected a good bit of water. Now quality wise I can’t say. Have to see how long it lasts. Also it’s quite cool looking and it’s a lot smaller than expected which for me is a plus

1. It is mediocre. when left on overnight in a room of 70% humidity level it only had 1/3 cup water in the tank and went down to 69% humidity level after 12 hours of use 2. Its a USA plug, im on amazon uk they should’ve sold it as a UK plug if you’re selling on Amazon UK. 3. I went to return the product and it will cost 90quid to return and they only reimburse up to 20 quid so now Im stuck with a terrible product. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Love it- super quiet and actually looks nice in a room because it’s compact. Does the job as well!!!!

I ran this dehumidifier for over one day in a bathroom. The water container was not full after more than day and my hygrometer showed no reduction in humidity for the 800 sq. foot area including the bathroom. It is more effective to simply open a window. For the reason that the dehumidifier did not do an adequate job, I returned it for a refund.

Very satisfied with this product to the point I bought a second shortly after getting the first! Only reason I give it 4 stars is right after ordering my second one the first started making a loud sound randomly. Sounds like the motor or fans are malfunctioning, tried cleaning it with compressed air but nothing. I also tried taking it apart to clean it but the screws on the back seem to do nothing. If anyone knows how to stop the sound or take this thing apart I would love to know! Sound does go away after time but around once a week (from what I hear) this sound starts and will go for several hours or until I turn it off. though turning it off and on doesn't make it stop. only way I get it to stop is leaving it running until the sound goes away! Other then that great product, tank fills quite quickly I empty both tanks at LEAST once a week. . they aren't quite powerful enough to dry my trailer I live in (why I ordered 2) still isn't enough but I do live on the west coast with 2 dogs in a very damp area so I'm happy with how much moisture they do get.
