It was a great addition to my kitchen. I love how easy it is to use: only the water is filled, the ground coffee is placed in the removable basket and turned on with a simple switch.Vortex technology really makes a difference; it distributes water evenly over ground coffee and that shows in the taste: more intense and balanced. Straightforward and good for an individual user. So far, it has met my expectations for brewing coffee and I would give it a higher rating, but the product information is not clear. The product information says "the nonstick carafe plate keeps coffee warm for an hour after brewing is complete". That led me to believe it turns off after an hour; however, the unit stays on until you turn off the switch. It DOES NOT turn off after an hour. The product information on Amazon needs to be more accurate. I can't discern that anything happens after an hour....other than the unit stays on.

This is a very reasonably priced and attractive coffeemaker that is way better than most in its price range. Your typical affordable coffeepot normally is very basic and always has some drawbacks. The usual worst drawback is that the brew interrupter makes them overflow if the pot isn't perfectly seated. You will NOT have to worry about that with this one; unless the pot is practically falling off the base, it won't overflow. They absolutely fixed that problem. The design of the carafe also lends itself to easier cleaning, with fewer corners for residue to get stuck in and the wider opening making getting inside it easier. It also has a Brew Stronger feature if you want a little extra kick. And then there's the simple fact that it just looks nice and takes up less counter space.Pro's:Brews great coffee.Won't overflow.Easier to clean.Brew Stronger feature.Separate Keep Warm feature from BrewTimer that starts after brewing so you can see how long until auto-shutoff (and thus know how old the coffee is).Cleaning function for more thorough descaling.Smaller counter footprint.Attractive.Con's:The buttons are very difficult to read from most angles.I liked it enough that I bought a second one for my parents, who always just bought cheap coffee pots and then physically removed the brew interrupter. Even they agree it's legitimately better.

Great inexpensive coffee maker. I bought this to replace a much more expensive maker so didn’t have high hopes. It works great! Love that it’s pre-programmable and has a keep warm feature. Makes a great cup of coffee with good temperature and taste. No complaints at all!

My Flexbrew coffee maker stopped working suddenly. So I needed a basic maker for the time being. I ordered this late yesterday and it was on my porch by the time I woke up.I made the first pot after initial cleaning and was surprised how fast it was. It brews hot, fast and makes a nice cup of coffee.Small size and lightweight. Not programmable , just an on off switch. I’d recommend it.

We wanted to 'treat ourselves' to a new basic coffee maker - and I'm disappointed. This one takes twice as long to brew as my ten year old drip machine, and it's loud. Every 30-40 minutes it gives a massive creaking sigh like it's having a mid-life crisis, which can be heard from across my house. It's constantly making 'clicking' sounds and expelling steam. I regret throwing my old coffee maker away before trying this out. Pros: It's a nice size, and keeps the coffee very hot.

Wow! I've been using a single cup coffee maker (not a name brand) for the last 4 years - Good grief Charlie Brown!!! My first batch from this new B&D coffee maker is so delightful, I am now experiencing the full flavor of the coffee I've been buying and what a difference! I made a full 12 cup pot and refrigerate for ice coffee (since it's summer) in the morning. Scrumptious! This was easy to use, no assembly, and easy clean up. Note, my coffee now tastes better than the iced black coffee I would occasionally get from Starbucks and it costswayless. I still appreciate the "Mocha" flavored bag of Starbucks coffee from the grocery store. Bon Appétit ☕️
