This is a nice, portable scanner that will get used for when we're outside of our library. However, we did try it inside for a few hours and the light is VERY bright. Staff did not care for it, and there don't appear to be any ways to adjust the brightness or alter the tone sound volume.

Scanner is the worse barcode scanner I have ever used. I cannot get this thing to scan anything. It's not sensitive enough to read anything. If the barcode isn't in perfect shape, size or condition, you will have a difficult time processing anything for your small business.

This desktop barcode scanner has been incredibly helpful for managing inventory. I love that it's hands-free; it makes scanning so much quicker when I'm sorting through a lot of items. The auto-sensing feature is a real time-saver – I just hold the item up, and it scans right away. It connects easily to my laptop, and I haven't had any issues with it recognizing different types of barcodes, even ones on slightly damaged labels. The battery life is impressive too, lasting ages before needing a charge.

I make and sell crafts, and so I built my own inventory control program for tracking sales, whenever I am at craft shows, and such. I use this attached to my laptop, and since it sits flat on the table, it's easy to scan people's purchases out of my inventory. It is accurate, and I've never had any problems with it. I highly recommend this scanner.

This is a pretty good scanner. I tested it with all 3 connection methods successfully. This type of scanner is generally used as a stationary device and items are waved in front of it. I found the device to be a little bright, lots of lights going off almost to the point of distraction. Its scanning capabilities are "OK" that is it will scan most items but it was not that fast and the documentation did not provide very much programmability. I felt that was a bit lacking. Generally speaking with these devices you can get further documentation (meaning programming barcodes) from the manufacturer website. To connect the device with the various methods, i.e. 2.4 Wireless, USB Cable and Bluetooth, you simply scan the appropriate barcodes in the provided 1 page (folded up) manual. The device has adjustable sound so you can set it for your preference. My feeling this is a slightly better than average barcode scanner. I was not really impressed with the performance, on the other hand, it did not fail in any of my tests. It appears to be pretty well built meaning it should be durable for use in retail situations or office.
