Works so far. No more low oil pressure warning. Hard to get to, but that's no fault of the sensor, just fine GM engineering.

This is a great part and the quality of it is amazing.

Fit as it should, lost the error code. Pain in the rear to install, have to crawl into the engine bay, get next to the firewall, after you take out a fuel feed line off. Buy the part and take it to your repair shop and negotiate a price, will save your back. Oh, OE is orange, this is black, it's not OE, but it fit and worked properly.

Purchased these when I could not get an actual GMC Original Part. The screen material is VERY CLOSE to the original and probably could be used instead of the Manufacturers part. In the photos, the Original GMC Filter with the BLUE O-Ring is on the Right and the Amazon Filter is on the Left. Very Close Screen Material. The Plastic and the Rubber O-Rings are exactly the same. This is the filter that goes beneath the replacement Oil Pressure Sensor on the Back of the Engine. In later years after 2014 the position was moved to the front of the engine. The Fit and Functionality are the same between the 2 filters.The Original GMC filter material on the Right is cross hatched and the Amazon Replacement Filter on the Left is a Square Pattern. I would have no problem installing either one. How you remove either of these filters is to use a coarse thread 13mm bolt or a comparable thick lag bolt and screw down lightly into the filter and pull it out. That is the secret to removing and replacing it. Hope this review helps you. If you have to take the truck to the dealer this job will cost $800

Works as it should

Perfect replacement for 2013 5.3 liter. Here's a tip, to make your life easier removing the old one, lightly screw in a lag screw and pull. Try a 5/16" or 3/8" lag about 3 inches long. You only need to get a bite on it and out it will come.

If you are changing the oil pressor sensor, it is suggested to replace the filter screen. My 2009 GMC Sensor went out and when I changed it I used this part for the replacement. Fit as like it was an OEM part.

Worked perfect on a 2011 Chevy Avalanche. Just drop it in and your good to go. I used a lag bolt that was just smaller than the ID of this and it pulled it out. I was concerned because it/bolt was a smaller diameter than the ID of this filter, but it worked...not sure if it's the oil that grabs or what but it came out just fine.
