Tasty. Comparable to anabar
I enjoy anabar. Tried this product to see what else is out there. This product is very comparable to an Anabar. The biggest difference is the gorilla bars have a slightly drier consistency and don’t taste like peanut butter as much. Cookie dough flavor is on point. Very good bars.

Quality products
Protein bars are good quality and taste good too. I just wish they offered their 10% discount when buying through Amazon and not just on their website.

Pricey But Delicious
I'm not sure what happened to the Atkins bars but they seem very hard to get nowadays. I've been looking for alternatives and when this showed up in my feed I pounced.Usually any kind of power bar has a sort of generic, almost-candy-but-not-quite taste. These are the real deal. They DO taste like candy. Not hard to see why when you read the ingredients, though. Lots o' sugar in these babies!I was at first put off by the ingredients listing Fully Hydrogenated Oil. But I did some research and learned that it's the Partially Hydrogenated Oils that are so unhealthy. So I'm assuming these are ok.But be prepared for a big calorie load to go with that delicious taste. They don't even show that side of the box or the wrapper in the listing (who are they kidding?) At this price you should be able to get the WHOLE PICTURE before you place an order.Anyway, if you're not stringently counting your calories you are sure to enjoy these yummy protein bars.

Best protein bar taste
I have tried several protein bars over the years. This brand has the best tasting one’s hands down. Anabar is a close second. The only downside is the calories may be a little high for some people on low calorie diets. I just adjust my calorie intake so I can have one during the day.

Tasty protein bars, but too high in fat content
I got these Gorilla Mind protein bars to eat and load up on protein before weight training, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the taste, peanut butter in this case. I really like it, especially after using Quest bars for years. There's quite a bit of sugar (15g), and they're pretty high in calories (280 cal), but with 20g of whey protein isolate (let's be honest, you didn't expect to see hydrolysate here), they make for a good pre- or post- workout meal. The only problem with this bar that I'm docking a star for is the high 12g of fat, as pointed out by Renaissance Periodization who placed Gorilla Mind bars at a pretty low #7 on his protein bar shootout, mostly due to this high fat content. It's the highest fat content I've seen in any protein bar.I'll still use these bars, but I will continue experimenting with other picks from the shootout that earned higher spots.

Cookies and Cream
Definitely the best tasting cookies and cream protein bar that I’ve tried. If you like Oreos, I would definitely recommend trying these

Allergy Alert - Tree nuts! Not shipped in a "special cold pack" either.
I couldn't find the ingredients anywhere on the Amazon product pages - which should have been a red flag, but I decided to try the "Cookies and Cream" flavor thinking that there's no way they're going to cram nuts into that one. Wrong. Cashews. And I'm epi-pen levels of allergic to tree nuts. I guess I'm giving these aways to friends. The vendor REALLY ought to be posting the ingredients lists on the product pages - especially for a nutrition / performance product! Until then - be aware - you have no idea what they put in these, so if you have food allergies, move along to a brand that makes the ingredient list available before purchase.Oh - and these came in a beat-to-hell cardboard box, not a special cold mailer.
