A GREAT DOOR LOCK!!!
I'm thoroughly satisfied with the Latch 5 that I purchased. I upgraded my door locks with the Latch 5 Fingerprint and paired it with the Lock Deadbolt. The ability to program from the app how I want them to work is a gamechanger. I can have either of them open once either 1 is unlocked. The setup and installation is super easy, the instructions provided are detailed and you really can't get lost or mess it up if you follow step by step. The real shining star though is the support from the company that you receive. They are on top of any issues you may have and are dedicated to making sure that you are satisfied with their product and respond promptly to any questions or issues. I would definitely suggest investing in their products. The only drawback is, they don't have enough products yet, lol. I'm really interested in the upcoming camera system they are working on. Also, their products work seamlessly with Samsung Smart Things (low-key the reason I tried them), so itz good to be able to utilize the Smart Things app and be able to control the locks and get notifications. Also, the notifications of who and when the locks unlock is nice. You can also setup a bypass mode where the locks remain unlocked and you can use the door as if it didn't have any locks on it period. Inverse you can also lock it so all remain locked no matter if a code is input or not. You can also give out temporary codes for people to use. They have really taken the time and invested quality improvements into bringing a great product to market! I can't say enough about the company and the products that I have, TRULY SATISFIED!!!

Great customer service
I've had this lock for a bit over a year when the buttons on the exterior stopped working. Emailed customer service and they had me run through a bunch of things to try, which actually worked for about 24 hours, then buttons failed again. Did a complete reset. Still not working. They sent me a new panel and now things are back to normal. Communication with customer service was responsive and helpful. Thanks.

2nd Purchase - Defect at First... Then GREAT Customer Service!
Purchased the version with the Finger Print Option for My Personal Home. Was Very Happy with It!Love the ability to control the lock from My phone and also invite roommates to have the ability to use the app too.For My Mothers Birthday, I bought this version to replace an old lock that only had the touch pad and no wifi. For some reason, that one stopped working and since I live a few hours away from My Mother, I could not figure out what the heck was going on.The ULTRALOQ has the WiFi and everything like the version at My House. Figured, with it, I can see what is going on when My Mother had any issues. Rather than driving all the way over.At first, this was GREAT. She loved it, didn't care about the app too much.. As she can be old school sometimes. Yet, I was able to help do everything from the app at My House. That combined with the Ring Cameras. There is a lot I can help her do from hours away.Worked great at first... Yet then less than a couple weeks after I left, the batteries died. So, we replaced them.. Figure, bad batteries or something. Then again, about a week, the batteries died.Being handy around the house, with tools, and electronics, I searched online for any answers I could find. That is where I started to see all the threads from people having the same issues. Some had the issue happen many times. Many comments about how Customer Service was pointless. That they would give you a list of things to do from loosening up the bolts, etc.. etc... But no fix.Based on the information online, I tried all the tricks and nothing was working for this lock either. Finally it came down to My Mother saying to just buy something else. Well... I didn't want to waste the money and it was already past return date.Finally, I reached out to Customer Service to see what they could do. As many of their posts online said to just put in a ticket. But really didn't explain much. That is why I tried what all the users relayed they were told.Well.. to no surprise, Customer Service sent Me the list of tricks to try that I already tried from what I learned online. Yet, I am good sport, so I tried them all again. Once again, no change, still draining within a week.All I had to do was let Customer Service know one time, that I did the tricks and they didn't work. They instantly sent out a replacement for the inside electrical parts. Asked Me to replace that and try again.Had to wait till I could get over to My Mothers again, and she just switched to using the key till I could come over. That really didn't bother her too much. Since that is how she has used doors most her life.Customer Service was great, checked in to see if it worked... Let them know that I had not made it over there yet. They just asked that I update them when I do.Let them know when I switched the lock out. They were happy to hear it and asked if everything was working and rather or not they should close the ticket or not. Due to the fact that the batteries would last about a week. I didn't want to close the ticket on the same day of replacement.After two weeks, I checked and the app was going back and forth from saying Battery Level High and Batery Level Medium. Much better than always seeing it Low. So I gave them an update. Yet, told them I was still giving it time to see if it would stay that way.To MY surprise, they were fine leaving the ticket open till I was satisfied. They checked in again after some time and I had been checking the app and with My Mother to confirm. So far, the same batteries that I put in at the replaced part, are still working. Finally, I was satisfied and let them know that they could close the ticket.IGNORE the comments on Customer Service not being helpful... It might have been that way before.. I do not know for sure... Yet, I can tell you, NOW they have GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.They sent Me a message today asking if I could post a review for others to see. Since I am actually VERY SATISFIED, I stopped what I was doing and wrote this review. AND NOW.. Realizing how long it has become.To U-tec Customer Service, THANK YOU!Thank You for being calm and patient, following up, and actually listening. I was truly amazed by your service. Since it appears to be a Team Effort from your system and no names mentioned. I can not give any shout outs except to the entire Customer Service Team. Keep up the great work!

Overall Great Product with Excellent Support
I found this smart lock very easy to install, even for someone with limited DIY experience. The app is user-friendly.However, the auto-lock feature stopped working. I reached out to customer support, and I was pleasantly surprised by how responsive and helpful they were. Communication was clear and efficient, and they eventually shipped a replacement part at no extra cost.Overall, the after-sales service was excellent and left me feeling confident in the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite the hiccup, I’m very happy with the product and would recommend it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great item! Great customer support! My lock started jamming and we contacted customer support and they tried to help trouble shoot it and sent us a new lock. Great customer service and super fast shipping! Would buy again!
