This item really helps my drop foot issue by stopping my foot from doing it's dangle dropping. Any other Drop foot brace does Not stop drop foot. They merely prevent the issue from being so severe and after awhile the wires will come loose n my foot drags again. This device actually stops the issue n the velcro it uses is SO "grabby" that it grabs on what it needs to n won't let go without considerable effort. This was a GREAT purchase. Puts all other drop foot braces to shame.

Helps stabilize and lift the foot with each step. Comfortable and adjustable. Perfect for post-stroke, nerve issues, or muscle weakness. Supportive without being bulky.

It can be a little difficult to put on a due to the Velcro sticking to everything. But it did make walking so much easier. You do need shoes with laces or Velcro stripes to hook the brace on your foot. We rid well with tennis shoes as long as the don’t have the elastic shoelaces.

This one is perfect for me. Easy to put on. Very comfortable!!

I’m having “drop foot” issues due to pinched nerve in my lower back. This brace has helped so much since my foot is dead weight and I can’t control, turn or flex it. This brace keeps it lifted and in line and makes walking much easier. Using a small Bobby pin, I added a nylon string across my shoe lace holes and attached clip through that instead of attaching through my shoe laces. I was afraid it would ruin my shoelaces. I ordered a second brace that is 2 pieces so I can wear barefooted and at night. I highly recommend.

My husband tried to wear this with his work boots (Timberlands) it put so much pressure on the shoe laces that it ripped out the holes. Tried again with a pair of tennis shoes, again, caused tearing to the shoe, and the pressure from pulling up on the shoe laces caused his toes to smash together. Did not help to keep the front of his foot elevated either. Very uncomfortable and not effective for his situation.

I have a drop foot and the brace serves its purpose, but after a few months, the Velcro becomes weaker and the brace becomes useless.

This is my 3rd pair of DOSH braces. I have bad drop foot, legs very weak from the knees down and tripped several times a day. I put them on in the morning and wear them all day. I wear them primarily on walking/running shoes. They have made a major difference in my walking ability. They last about 2 years.I wear my socks inside out and cover the tops of the braces so it just looks like socks.
