Complete kit for installing euro hinges.
Easy to set up. Accurate and consistent. Sturdy enough to drill an entire kitchen with maple doors. An excellent jig to have for cabinets.

It's worth it.
5 cabinets, two hinges on each. It could use a stronger vise, but it worked on all.

Expose Hinges to Hidden Hinges complete.
The Jig work out perfectly. Easy to use. Need to replace outside hinges to hidden hinges. Will recommend for the seller.

Worked well but
This item helped me drill, secure, even hinge holes, but unfortunately the three options to pre-drill for the screws didn’t line up with any of my hinges

Not worth the price
2 main issues. The supplied forstner bit is low qualit. Takes a lot of pressure to drill into standard ply (not even multi layer russian ply). In addition the guide holes for the screws do not match up to a common Blum hinge.Returned

Nevertheless, anyone who gets this item probably already knows how to figure out how it should be used. There is an excellent video as one of the advertisements, which shows the setup and use of this very well-made jig. Even if you know what you're doing, it's a good idea to watch it.Everything about the body of this device feels sharply machined. In my opinion, however, the clamp mechanism could be more robust, and the Forstner bit is probably only good for soft woods like pine or cedar. It could also be OK for MDF, plywood, and other relatively soft cabinet material. But I strongly doubt it would last very long when used with hard woods like oak, maple, ash, etc.Using a piece of scrap pine as a learning experience, the bit cuts neatly into the wood and produces a decent hole for the concealed hinge to fit into. The hinge, by the way, will cover any slight goofs, scratches, splinters, etc. that may result from sloppy work.Surprisingly, there are no YouTube instructional videos for this model (JL35-A2), although there is one for the less expensive and less adaptable first iteration (Fonson Tools JL35-A1).This jig is very adaptable to a variety of hinges. That is, there are several 'stops', or guides, that can be put in place to assure that the cuts made to several cabinet doors will be consistent. The guides can be adjusted to accommodate the variations found in hinges from different manufacturers. Of course, for any single job, all of the hinges should be the from the same source. The point is that this jig can be configured to repeatedly make the same holes for each hinge.FOUR STARS because of the relatively cheap Forstner bit. Other than that, this is a fine tool for the home user. With care, it *might* be sturdy enough for professional use.

This jig will save a lot of time when making new cabinet doors.
This concealed hinge jig by TOURACE is much better than the cheap jigs that cost half as much. First of all the cheap jigs don’t normally have multiple position limits. This jig allows you to have 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm limits set by using two thumb screws. The cheap jig I have won’t even clamp onto 3/4” stock, whereas this one I tested with 1” stock and I believe it would easily attached to 1 1/8” stock. This unit also has an end spacer thumbscrew that is set to 68mm from the center of the hinge hole you drill. I compared this to my current kitchen cabinets and it’s the same distance. Therefore, if you need to add a top and bottom hinge to a new cabinet door, this spacer set-up will probably work to equally distance the hinge from the top and bottom of the cabinet door.I also like that they allow the 35mm drill guide to detach from the base. This allows me to setup and attach the base to the cabinet door and then pickup the drill with the drill guide attached and place it into the base to drill the hole. There is a little sideward “play” when the included 35mm drill bit is inserted into the drill guide and I wish they made the tolerances tighter. There’s no directions in the box, there’s just a card with a QR code that directs you to this webpage to watch the video. The protective padding is nice and will make a good storage container for this tool, but I wish they would have designed the foam to be able to store the 35mm bit inside the drill guide. As it is, you have to disassemble the 35mm drill from the drill guide to store it.I setup the 35mm drill bit depth collar to allow me to drill a 1/2" hole for my hinge and it's very close to it's limit. It might go to a depth of 5/8".Overall this will be a great help when I build Shaker style kitchen cabinets doors to replace the 90’s style doors (a big item on the honey do list). Amazingly the holes in the base to allow me to drill holes for the hinge screws actually are setup correctly for the soft-close hinges I selected.

Accurate
Excellent for drilling holes, the clamp feature makes work quick and easy. Drilling is accurate but had issue with the depth adjustment set screw. The threads stripped and I wasn't able to adjust it anymore.
