This is fanless. Very quiet with basic management functions. Sits on my computer desk and serves to hook up two iMacs, a yamaha keyboard, a printer and a scanner. Works very well for this.

is this for a 19" rack and does it come with mounting hardware?

Can someone confirm that the GS116UK 16 port (10.3 x 28.5 x 2.7 cm) has fittings to install in a 19" rack. A 19" rack fits devices that are 44cm wide. The 16 port is only 28.5. That would require a good sized adapter. I doubt this could fit in a 19" rack
