It's not solid metal but thin chrome plated steel. I expected it to be able to take the weight of a few heavy coats and jackets, which it did. Just. See the photos. The backing plate is a little thin for the job it's designed to do. It has flexed outwards slightly with the weight of the coats. The socket tube is held to it with two small spot welds, again, holding, but two more spot welds and a thicker backplate would have given me the confidence in the product to rate it five stars.

Living in a small flat, I need to find creative storage solutions. This hanger is perfect for my hubby's work shirts once they are ironed so they stay unwrinkled (as they would be if put in the wardrobe after ironing - saves me from ironing more than once a week (bliss). Excellent delivery and value for money.

No way of keeping it in position! The idea of folding it back is great but something to keep it locked in central position when using would be a good idea!

I bought a pair for a small wardrobe in order to gain some space. It does its job very well and is ok for shirts or suits. I am not so sure if it would hold more weight like winter coats etc. The metal plate that hold the hook looks rather thin.Good price.

Put it up and it is good value. Not much you can say except it is well made and seems OK. I am getting another as this fits our needs perfectly.

Great product better than my previous one hangers slid together but the little notches on this keep hangers apart one of those must haves for your utility

I liked that my garments are now hanging up and out of the way, so it did the job I intended it for.

Very good value for money!! Strong, will hold several hangers of clothes at once. Folds flat against the wall when not in use. Would definitely recommend!
