Having initial problems with my computer re the Bluetooth application, in the end everything turned out good. I had recently purchased a pairof Bose Bluetooth ( £199 ). With the Bose I found there wasn't the surplus volume that I thought there would be for this price, not to mention thebattery life!! On the other hand, the Avantek offer a much greater volume surplus plus the battery life after fully charged can last up to 24 hrs ona normal volume level. I also find that the headphones are also more comfortable on the head and for me, that sound quality is equal to, or evensuperior to that of Bose!! Perhaps the " secret " here is NOT knowing how the company can produce and sell these headphones below £50!!! I alsonote that the Bose headphones carry reviews of up to about 4.5. The Avantek I notice with 47 reviews carry a 5* rating which I believe is right!!!!ENOUGH SAID.

I bought a pair of these ages ago and when the dog chewed through the cable. Didn't have any hesitation in buying them again. However it took me ages to find them in stock so when I did I bought three pairs!!!Why???Well they are not the best. You can find better quality, lighter, more trendy ones out there but these will set you back £££££ But what you cant find is a pair of headphones that has great sound, comfortable pads and the ability to Monitor with one ear, as these for the money, and the BIG plus is the 4 Meter cord. This means you can Watch TV in bed, attach to your guitar amp without having to worry about ripping them off. Believe me this extra Meter on normal phones makes all the difference. Oh and I would still argue these are as good sounding as other Headphones that cost 3 times as much.Buy them you wont regret it.

I tried very hard to make a good selection when I wanted some Bluetooth headphones but it is not easy as you may know. However, I can say that I am delighted with these Avantek ones. The sound is crisp and clear with good bass support. They are very easy to set up and pair with a variety of devices. I have mine paired with iPod, PS3, windows phone, Acer tablet and my Lenovo laptop. They work fantastically well with everything, so, my advice would be don't shop around trying to buy too cheaply these have to be the best under £50 cans anywhere

Purchased a set of these headphones last month for use with my galaxy s5 and ipad air. I was sceptical at first only paying £45 for a set of bleutooth headphones but reviews looked good.My main like is the battery. Had these a while now and only on my second charge!!!!! Next is the audio quality which in my opinion is absolutely spot on. Music from my ipad sounds crisper than off my s5 but both are amazing nether the less. Plenty off bass but not overkill and treble is also neutral and not excessive with a natural feelBuild is spot on as well with a decent feel to them and a good weight.Overall my only gripe would be that the packaging doesnt feel good enough for a consumer item, but that could be improved on later releases from avantek.Overall i would rate the item 9/10

After receiving these I found them to be comfortable and to have good sound and a great range. I didn't use them much and within the first three months had probably only charged them three times. They now don't take a charge at all and I am advised that it is too late to return them even though they are only a few months old. They are fine as wired headphones but if that all I wanted I would have spent £20 not £50.I know see that I am not the first person to have this problem and that they are no longer available but if they come back on sale avoid them.

Having returned two faulty philips headsets I thought i'd try the avantek even though i had not heard of the brand before. This headset is superbly made and feels very solid and durable, well designed and well made. My previous headsets felt like a very poor substitute compared to the avantek. A top product, great sound and amazing battery life.

Really like these headphones. There very comfortable and have a good sturdy adjustable head peace that once you have set it will never need to be changed. Other headphones are to quick to loss there grip. The range is very good you could be anywhere in the house and take a call.The sound quality is fine and its very easy to use. The mic works well but perhaps not as good as some of the more expensive headphones out there.all in all for the price its a really good set.

Really good headphones but seriously flawed. I brought the primarily because of the bluetooth range. The 100 ft claimed is a fallacy. I struggle to get a 20 ft range on ipad or smart phone. I contacted them and they sent me an awful template response and didn't answer my query - poor.

Ich habe die Kopfhörer für meinen Sohn zu Weihnachten gekauft. Mein Hauptaugenmerk lag auf einer guten Audioqualität und einem guten Tragekomfort. In dieser Hinsicht haben die Kopfhörer wirklich ein erstklassiges Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Der Klang der Bässe ist gut aufgelöst und nicht nur "Wumm Wumm", die Mitten sind - wenn auch etwas zurückhaltend - gut und die Höhen sind klar und nicht schrill.Die Verarbeitung ist gut und die Kissen liegen behaglich an den Ohren an, selbst längeres Tragen ist so bequem, dass mein Sohn nach einiger Zeit nicht mal mehr merkte, dass er Kopfhörer trägt.Die Größe der Bügel ist wohl für größere Köpfe als den meinen gedacht, bei mir rutschen die Dinger trotz kleinster Einstellung.Dies trifft auf meinen Sohn nicht zu, er hat einen größeren Kopf und liebte die Hörer schon nach wenigen Minuten, zumal das Design auch cool aussieht und nicht klobig und doof.Die Anleitung ist missverständlich und spricht von 2 Sek. Drücken auf die "Ein"-Taste für das Bluetooth-Pairing, in Wirklichkeit muss man mindestens 6 Sekunden drücken, bevor die Prozedur (mit einer Sprachansage) beginnt.Als Headset ist das Gerät zwar prinzipiell geeignet und funktioniert auch problemlos, aber das Mikrofon ist leider sehr dumpf.Die Reichweite ist gut, innerhalb der Wohnung herrschte bei uns Vollabdeckung auch durch mehrere Wände, Die Akkulaufzeit ist, obwohl noch nicht unter Härtebedingungen geprüft, bisher nicht negativ aufgefallen.Gaming auf dem Tablet, Musikhören und Youtube machen mit dem Gerät viel Spaß, zum Telefonieren ist es grenzwertig.Als reinen Bluetooth-Kopfhörer gäbe es locker 5 Sterne, denn die Hörqualität ist super, als Headset wegen des Mikros nur 3, daher in der Summe 4.

Ich benutze den Kopfhörer ausschließlich zum Musik hören. Die Reichweite des Empfangs ist sehr gut. Die Ausdauer des Empfangs ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Tragekomfort sehr gut . Stabilität und Verstellmöglichkeit sehr gut. Die Musik und auch Stimmen sind gut aufgelöst also alles verständlich. Das wichtige für mich ist , das auch nach längerem Hören keine Hörermüdungserscheinungen auftreten. Diese treten dann auf wenn irgendwelche Disresonanzen bei Tiefen-Mitten oder Höhen vorliegen, das ist hier nicht der Fall.Soviel Gutes habe ich für den Preis nicht erwartet noch vermutet. Danke!

wollte zuerst nur 4 Sterne vergeben aber auf Grund des tollen Preis Leistungs Verhältnisses hat dieser Kopfhörer 5 Sterne verdient. Was mich erstaunt hat Videobild über Handy war der ton Lippensynchron. Der Ton ist toll mir pers. etwas zu Bass lastig stört aber nicht weiter, die Kinder lieben es. Meine nächsten Kopfhörer werden auch von Avantec.

An sich sehr schöne und angenehm zu tragende Kopfhörer. Leider ist bei mir während der Bluetooth Nutzung ein ständiges, mittelstarkes Rauschen zu hören mit des öfteren auftretenden, kurzzeitigen Fiepgeräuschen.Daher muss ich diese Kopfhörer leider zurücksenden und weiter suchen.

Der Kopfhörer funktioniert einwandfrei nach tadelloser Koppelung mit Bluetooth 4.0.Der Sound ist für mich ohne Fehl und Tadel, wobei ich jetzt nicht mit höheren Preiskategorienvergleichen kann. Wichtiger für mich ist die tägliche Funktionalität des Geräts, und da gabes keine Beanstandungen.

Die Kopfhörer waren für meinen Sohn zu Weinachten,und sie halten wirklich was versprochen wurde.Super Klang,einfach mit dem Handy oder Lappi zu verbinden.Sehr,Sehr zu empfehlen.Super Produkt.

Der eigentliche Zweck, weshalb ich mir ein Bluetooth-Headset anschaffe ist, dass ich einerseits für unterwegs Kopfhörer haben will und für Zuhause ein Headset mit Mikrofon, mit dem ich auch durch die Wohnung laufen kann.Verbindung herstellen ist sehr einfach und klappt gut. Das Headset sagt einem auch alles an "Power on", "Power off", "Ready to pair" und "Connected", somit muss man nicht immer auf die LED schauen und das Headset abnehmen.Klanglich ist das Headset durchschnittlich aber nix besonderes. Mit bisschen Equalizer (sofern vom Abspielgerät unterstützt) bekommt man einen ganz guten Sound. Die Mikrofonqualität ist akzeptabel.Tragekomfort ist angenehm, gut gepolstert. Die Hörer kann man zwar nicht an die Ohren anpassen, aber für den 0815-Kopf reichts.Mein Negativpunkt, weshalb das Headset auch zurückgeht ist:Beim Betrieb mit dem PC werden 2 Audiogerätetreiber installiert: "Bluetooth Stereo-Audio" (als Wiedergabegerät) und "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio Device" (als Aufnahme- und Wiedergabegerät).Das Hands-free Device hat eine wesentlich schlechtere Qualität und ist nur mono betreibbar.Der Betrieb von beiden "Geräten" gleichzeitig ist nicht möglich, das heißt, es ist nicht möglich, über den Stereotreiber abzuspielen und gleichzeitig mit dem Hands-free aufzunehmen, sodass man z. B. bei Skype-Telefonaten oder Teamspeak Gesprächen immer die schlechtere Audioqualität hat.Das ist beim Handy genauso.Das Umschalten zwischen den beiden "Geräten" erfolgt leider realtiv langsam. Wenn man also ein Skype-Telefonat beendet und unmittelbar danach etwas anhören möchte, darf man erstmal ein bisschen warten, bevor man überhaupt etwas hört.Fazit: Wer sich das Teil nur zum Musikhören anschafft, okay, ansonsten unbrauchbar.Kaufempfehlung: Definitiv nicht!

Ich habe Hutgröße 60. Wem das nichts sagt - es bedeutet mein Kopf ist relativ groß. Leider ist dieser Kopfhörer so groß, dass er mir herunterrutscht. Wer also noch einen deutlich größeren Kopf hat, dem kann ich das Gerät empfehlen. Der Sound wäre gut gewesen.

These are the best of three that I tried - there are a ton of BT headphones out there. I wanted BT 4.0, a good battery life, and a good microphone for conference calls - in the $45-$75 range... sound quality was interesting but not a top requirement for me in this price range.What I found with this Avantek set was most everything I needed - BT 4.0, a great battery life, an acceptable microphone (others were terrible) and good overall sound. These don't compare with my Bose active noise-canceling, wired headset for sound quality... but those are $300.I like the look and feel of these headphones. They don't feel cheap at all. I have a big head (ask my wife) and they fit comfortably. I do notice a bit of ear fatigue after an hour or so.So why not 5 stars? There are six buttons, 3 on each side, that control power on/off/pairing, volume +/-, audio/video control. First off, I can only work the buttons (they are small) when I take the headphones off. Power on/off and pairing work very well. Volume +/- is okay, but there is no audio response either way... it just gets louder or quieter - so you have to do it while someone's talking... and if I have to take the headphones off to find the buttons... arghh. The audio/video control seems to only work with iTunes (on the Mac). If I have a quicktime video playing and hit those buttons, iTunes loads. This might be more of an issue with the Mac than the headset, but again, I have to take the headphones off to find the right buttons. So, Power buttons can remain small, volume should be bigger with audio feedback (click louder/quieter?), audio/video controls should be bigger and should give some indication (documentation) how to get it to work with other than iTunes.Feature wanted that I didn't factor into the "stars"... The documentation and Q&A gives the impression you can connect these headphones to multiple devices... and it's true, these headphones CAN connect/pair to multiple devices... just not at the same time. I'd like to be able to use the headphones to listen to music from my Mac, then jump to my phone if I get a call, then go back to my Mac... while I can force the headphones between the devices for different needs, it's a bit cumbersome and many times just flat doesn't work. Due to BT 4.0, this might require separate receivers in the headphones and complicate things quite a bit... but hey, let's fill a need. Anyone else have more than 1 device they want to use seamlessly with their headphones?That said, these are the best bluetooth headphones, overall, for my needs, I've tested so far. I like them... but I'm not in love :) If I had the money, I'd go with the new Bose BT noise reduction headphones in a heartbeat.

These are great. I listen to music while I walk my dogs in the dark in the early morning. The sound is fabulous and the ease of use is better than anything I've ever owned. They paired easily with my phone. It is easy to turn them on and connect to the phone. The headphones feel comfortable on my head even for the two hours I walk. I can hear enough ambient sound to detect a car coming up behind me or someone calling out to me. Using the volume up and down and track changing function is easy. Answering a phone call that comes in while I'm walking and listening to music is easy. They stay on my head even if I have to bend down to get something off the ground. I have tried ear buds and hated them. On several occasions the wires have broken and I've lost the stereo sound or the ear buds have fallen out of my ears. Wired ear buds were terrible because the cord to my phone got caught in the leash or the flashlight. Bluetooth ear buds were terrible because the apparatus around my neck got caught in my collar or scarf and the little wires from the receiver to the ear buds eventually bent once too often and I lost the sound on one side.These headphones are just what I have been looking for.

For a midrange set, they are good, but I'm not a fan of the price. There is a huge issue with the levels of either speaker. The left side is significantly lower than the right and this is only corrected after extended use where you can get used to it. The difference is so extreme that even levelers struggle to cope. The Bluetooth connectivity is extremely convenient and connects to devices quickly and reliably, as long as your receiver is reliable. I currently have a Bluetooth dongle made in China for $4 that refuses to remain connected, cuts out, and sends severe feedback through the mic. However, through my cell phone the sound quality is par for the course and the mic works fine. However, is does cut out occasionally for a second or two at a time. No way to tell if that is the phones fault or the headphones, but this does not happen with a wired connection.Pros: Bluetooth is convenient, sound quality is okay, headphones are fairly lightweight, connects quickly and easily, and battery life is outstanding (going on a week of 1-2 hour daily use)Cons: Choppy signal even with a good connection, speaker levels are downright unacceptable, phone controls are hard to figure out and I find myself making calls accidentally.Overall, I'd say the sound quality isn't worth the price, but if you strictly need bluetooth at this budget, you'd be doing well.

Not nearly as many caching/dropouts or bluetooth signal disconnects at an unobstructed 12 feet away (!) as the HY-983 model.Sound fidelity is better, except that there IS some buzzing after just a month's average use, even with audiobooks at about half max volume.Not sure what that's about, but, overall an improvement over that other vastly inferior model.Update as of 3/31/2015 -- A persistent problem has surfaced over the last 4-5 days that is (for us) a deal breaker.. Namely,that either the left or the right speaker will cut out for no reason. If the wearer shakes their head a bit, the speaker will temporarily re-engage.Not good.For this reason, we are dropping our rating to just 2 stars down from 4.Sorry Avantek, but you guys were supposed to be better than this.

Excellent sound quality and the microphone works well. Shuts off power unexpectedly occasionally when it is not in use for a while causing some connection problems when answering the phone. I use them for long conference calls and they are very comfortable. If I am listening to music over Bluetooth or with the cable connected and a call comes in, it switches to the call immediately. My only real complaint is that the location and size of the buttons for adjusting volume and power on/off are close together and rather small, making it difficult to adjust. However, in terms of comfort and sound quality, these are very good.
