We got this for my son to make his own monster journal. He and his friends draw and write down the monsters they encounter in their "adventures". Such a fun way to expand a kids imagination. The pages are yellowed and old looking and it just has a cool weathered feel. He loves it so I love it. Definitely would recommend if you have an imagination adventurer too.

I've wanted a Hocus Pocus spell book for years but could only find the small ones. This 10 x 13 looks bigger than the dimensions sound and is the perfect size. Yes it really seems to be hand sewn leather, soft and pliable. A couple corners spots are worn looking but that is perfect for a book that is hundreds of years old. I could wish that the eye was a little larger and more realistic and even maybe moved, but its still good. The pages inside are very thick, seem to be handmade paper and continue the authenticity for an ancient book. I bought 3 different kinds of pens and the 30037 Sharpie seems to be best for this. I have brown, blue and black ink colors and will ask various people to write and illustrate spells as though various witches over time have recorded them. I am buying a second one for my daughter.

This little Hocus Pocus jpurnal is the perfect addition to any library or movie buff. Its very well made. And very detailed. With hand made paper and leather. Its perfect for spooky season or yo acutally juse for journaling. I strongly recommend this journal

The book is absolutely beautiful. The only down side I've found so far, is the weird orange stand the pages leave on anything they touch. My hands and t-shirt were both stained after handling the book for only a few minutes. I have taken a soft damp cloth to the pages and it's seemed to help a little. But overall, I'm happy with it.

this may have been the best purchase of 2023!! it is sooo realistic to what is featured in “Hocus Pocus”. my three year old was overwhelmed with excitement when we unboxed this. we used the pages to watercolor “spells”. this has definitely become a keepsake item for us… goodness, this was just so fun. we are very happy

My mom is a huge Hocus Pocus buff and has many many children visit her house on Trick or Treat. I bought her this so she could have a "guest book" for her little visitors. I wish I would have found it sooner since she now is hosting children of children she had years ago.
