An efficient little fan, but bigger than I had expected.
I must say that I 'm very impressed with this fan, I haven't bought a turbo fan before now. It's small enough not to take up a lot of space in my room but powerful enough to deliver a nice cooling blast. It's more of a directional fan than one that cools the whole room but that works well for my needs. It's light enough to be easily moved from one place to another and it can even be wall mounted! The only downside for me is that the control knob is hidden at the back, it isn't too much of a problem really but can be difficult to locate from the front. Some day that it's noisy but I don't think it's any noisier that other fans I've had, although I suppose that more expensive fans may be quieter. All in all, I 'm very happy!

Great performer with a strong airflow.
We bought this for our recent holiday in Greece. Often without aircon or more often old and noisy aircon, a small backup fan is useful. Our regular choice is two of the small 6 inch desktop fans, on small pedestals. They worked well enough if positioned closely. This fan is only a little larger but is vastly superior to two of our old fans. It has the ability to project a stream of air over several metres with not too much noise. At the low setting (less noise) we were able to point the fan at the ceiling at 45 degrees and the airflow curled around the ceiling and wall to flow over our bed from its position a metre away from the foot of the bed, giving a gentle but welcome air movement.

Its big, plus list of things you may find annoying
Its bigger than you think - 28cm high x 27cm wideAnnoying things / poor product design:- Who puts the strongest setting option next to the the on / off the on switch - surely you want to ramp up, not get blown away straight off the bat- I wish there was a lower setting because its too strong to have on your desk (i.e at arms reach for easy adjustment)- The switch is too stiff so the whole item rotates if you turn on/off/adjust fan strength one handed- It doesn't rotate down so if its on a riser, like mine, you can't face towards your torso.- Not quite as quiet as everyone claims.

Still excellent a year on!
Why did you choose this product over others?:Bought a year ago and currently on again during the UK heatwave! It’s brilliant, for the money it does a great job. We use it in preference to my Dyson hot/cold fan. Not too noisy either, the kind of hum that helps you fall asleep! I find all the settings about the same, not noticed too big a difference there. But, would recommend a year on!

Really good for what it is
I think this is a great fan. It's quite small but I am impressed by how well it works. I have the loft room that gets boiling hot on summer times and this fan helps to take the edge off.I've placed it a kut 3meters away from my bed and I can feel the gentle breeze that is perfect. It's not quiet but it's not noisy. I've had bigger and louder fans that were unmanageable

It has 3 settings even on 1 it’s efficient for cooling
These fans are absolutely brilliant.I already have two and I have just bought another.Three settings and brilliant for keeping a 20 x 25 foot room at a lovely cool temp.I have huge fans too but they are so noisy I can’t hear the tv over them but these are fine.Happy with purchase

It's not quiet at all. Ignore the reviews claiming it is.
Airflow was good, even on the low setting, however I've definitely been baited into getting this by people claiming it was quiet. On the lowest setting, its still VERY loud. People are talking about how it's good even for sleeping... Maybe with earplugs?Really don't understand why anyone would claim this is quiet. It's the same as any other bladed, rotating fan. I'll make do for daytime use, but I'll absolutely need to look into a replacement bladeless fan for the bedroom, as this is in no way suitable.

Superb
Was expecting it to be smaller so was a nicely surprised when I opened the box. While this thing doesnt occeslate it absolutely kicks out the air while remaining fairly quiet compared to some other fans iv used in the past. For the price this definatly kicks ass!
