In my house, we also purchased the bath stone mats that soak up the water once we step out of the shower but they stain after a while. And if you get chemicals on them, they will get discoloration. Can’t really clean them other than with some water but these rubber mats remind me of the heavy duty thick rubber mats for the kitchen you can buy at Sams or Costcos. They’re not as thick but they do soak up the water just like the stone mats. Only difference is that they are easier to just clean with a wet cloth and the price difference. Will buy again in the future!

Although these bath-mats are microfiber, which attracts pet hair, (I have 4 cats.) they are the best I have found. They do-not lift or get sucked into the vacuum when I am doing my daily floor cleaning. I often use my lint brush to pick-up the fine cat hair as a quick fix.The absorbency or softness is not as big of an issue, for me, as is the low profile and easy cleaning. These mats will absorb water without leaving puddles on the tile. They are soft in texture but not like memory foam mats, which I do not like.Most bath-mats seem to absorb more dirt than anything. Because these are so flat there is no where to hold dirt.I believe these mats will last much longer than ordinary bath-mats. My cats are not interested in sharpening their claw on them which is a major win in my house.I have not put them through the washing machine test, which typically eats away at the backing. If they fall apart I will revise this review. So far, I like these a lot, and will be ordering more. There are many colors and sizes to choose from.

I didn’t read the description, fully. My mistake!I thought this was the stone mat & purchased it.It came folded & I couldn’t really tell which side was the absorbent side. LoL.*I got the dark grey for underneath my English Mastiff’s “water trough.”I put it out & left it alone all night. It still has “wrinkles” in it.I did drop water on it to figure out the absorbent side.It worked well but just is a “blah” mat for me.I did give it 4 stars ⭐️ but I will be returning it, unfortunately.But, I’d recommend it for someone not looking for the stone mat!

After the last cloth rugs that wore out from machine washing and drying, I took a chance on a very different floor cover for a bathroom. The thin, lightweight mat is easy to lay out. It dries quickly when wet even after wiping it clean with a damp cloth. I was fortunate to find one of the few colors that would complement my bathroom.

If you goal is water management...this product absorbs and evaporates water well. However, there is nothing plush about it. Kind of a hard surface if you are used to a soft bath matt. I am still However using this matt and plan to continue using it. It dries exceptionally well.
