I am so pleased with this board, it is beautifully made and has a lovely finish. Best of all it is that bit bigger than cheaper ones and so holds large sheets of paper as well as any reference work for easy comparison when I am drawing and painting. Very happy indeed.

It is very nice and sturdy, and works perfectly for illustrations.But it does not look like the picture, and mine came with discoloring and a dented corner, it does not afect my work but it is still something worth mentioning.

I was a little unsure as to whether this would be steady enough but I need not have worried. It's rock solid and very comfortable to use. Well made, good value for money and looks like it will last. One criticism is that it could do with a setting in-between 'flat' and the first angled position, as it's quite a big jump, but I think I will be able to remedy that with a little saw to cut an extra notch. Other than that, I'm well pleased with it.

Brilliant board. Checked them all out that were available and decided to pay the extra for the solid board. Unlike other comments I have seen it goes low enough for watercolour. It is also very sturdy and nice looking bit furniture.

The drawing board arrived on time in a flimsy cardboard box with rather ominous rattling sounds within. I discovered that the various drawing board elements had been ripped apart due to there being no padding to stop them from moving inside the box.The six screws that held the base to the drawing platform had completely been ripped out of the very thin backing plywood and the adjustment frame had done the same so all in all there were three seperate wooden elements loose inside.I made an effort to try to screw everything back but the screws had been ripped out of the flimsy plywood (the drawing board is not solid inside) and left bigger holes so no luck there, I think I may have to glue a more substantial strips of wood onto the back to be able to use longer screws.This product is spoilt by shoddy packing and even more shoddy workmanship (if you can call it that!!).It is not worth sending it back as I fear it would be more hassle that it's worth so it looks like I'll have to get my working overalls on.....

Robust and well made

I can't fault this product, it serves the purpose for which I bought it and it was delivered in good condition at the time stated. I have only recently acquired this drawing board and so I can't yet give it 5 stars, perhaps if I was asked in a few years I might.

It says it is a high quality product made of "solid, oiled beech wood". That's why I bought it. Unfortunately, what I received was a product made of some sort of cheap laminate (or the like) material, and definitely not the high quality product I was expecting. I would advise looking for some other manufacturer.
