Looks good, performs perfectly and was a very reasonable price.
The machine arrived in 2 days and was easy to set up and use straight away.It is good looking so I will keep it out on my worktop but, although it feels solid and well made it is not too heavy to put in a cupboard (but it is quite big). The controls are easy to use and have a positive feel especially the locking positions. I have not made bread yet but It whisks and beats perfectly- made a roulade and a cake with it today. It does not seem to need the mixture scraped down half way through ( as some reviews said it would ) The bowl, which is solid to handle, has an inverted dimple in the middle which is perhaps why it mixes so cleanly. This replaced a very old Kenwood food processor. I decided that this does the processes that I use often and I have bought a separate small chopping appliance for things like cutting veg, particularly onions, and making breadcrumbs. The two appliances cover all the processes I routinely use and together cost around £110 - much cheaper than most food processors!

Good looking, great motor, superb value
The mixer was well-packaged and looks beautiful. I've only used it once so far, and compared to my old KitchenAid Artisan I have the following comments:- Well made but much more plastic. For the price, I expect this and overall the mixer does not feel cheap. Need to be careful when raising the head as it can snap back if you aren't careful.-Suction cup on the bottom is a nice feature. Since the machine isn't so heavy, it helps to stabilise the machine when mixing thick batter/dough.-The various attachments are good quality but I was a bit surprised by the large plastic disc at the top - again I assume this is for stability.-The first recipe I made was a large cake. The mixer coped beautifully with creaming the butter and sugar and even the addition of 3 c flour didn't slow it down. I must admit it made one or two strange noises, but no issues.Overall I am very pleased with the mixer so far and think it is great value for the money.

Nice mixer
Bought mainly with dough making in mind. Have used it a couple of times and it worked well. The handle on the bowl is great for ease of use for tipping out. Interchangeable heads were easy to use and just a small lever to easy lift the arm up and down. Easy to clean, looks good and fits on the work top a treat. Not too heavy to lift for moving about on the work top where you want to use it. Good suckers on the feet which hold well and stop it moving about when in use.

Very impressive to start with.....
I had a choice wth this one or a kenwood that was on sale. I chose this one, because reviews were good and it looked more attractive then the kenwood 😜Having used it I am very impressed. Great speed title tricky to get selection and I it wasn't as noisy as I thought it was going to be. (It didn't scare the baby on the highest setting)The only negative comment is the bowl is a little tricky to click into place and attaching the attachments takes some practice.Once past those two things it really is a great machine.I would definitely buy a again.UPDATE:Follow on from my previous review, I had to send this back. The issue with the fitting of the bowl just got too annoying and the vibrating across the work top meant that I had to constantly hold the machine.I went with the Kenwood instead and the difference is amazing

Fantastic Mixer
Have only had the opportunity to use the mixer once since my purchase last week and it performed brilliantly. I can't believe how powerful, yet very sturdy it is. I also don't know how you produced such a great product for the price. My previous mixer recently packed up after many years of good service, and I was going to replace it with latest model of same brand, but the reviews weren't quite as good as yours and the price was more or less the same for a much smaller mixer. Time will tell as I use it more for other things, but so far I'm extremely impressed. Also looks great in my kitchen alongside all my other black appliances.

Mixer broke within 10 months
I bought this mixer and it worked well for 10 months, then the speed knob broke and the mixer stopped working. It is a good mixer when it works, but generally I feel the quality is substandard so it is prone to breaking within 2 years.

Only suitable as something stylish for your counter top of new bakers
Ah I had such high hopes for this!Until recently, I had been using a 25 year old kenwood mixer which I inherited from a great aunt. I'm not a professional cake makes but I am the go to cake person for my friends and family so bake a lot.Sadly, my faithful old kenwood was damaged beyond repair during our kitchen refit. I just didn't have the money to replace it with another kenwood so took the plunge and ordered this.If you are looking for a mixer that looks stylish on your counter and you maybe only whip up some cupcakes or a spong cake every so often than this would be fine.DO NOT purchase this if you are even semi serious about baking. The 3 attachment feel very plasticky and cheap and I worry I will snap them trying to even getThem onto the mixer. The real issue is with the mixing process itself. With all mixers, you expect to have to scrape down the sides of the bowl ever so often. With the old kenwood, I would may scrapped once or twice whilst creaming firm butter and sugar. With this model you literally have to scrape every 15 seconds. I played with the mixing speed and no matter what I don't, the mix just hit the sides and stayed there. The mixing attachments don't seem wide enough to catch any of the mixture once it hits the sides. I thought it might be better once the mixture was a little wetter so added an egg earlier than I normally would but made next to no difference. I actually ended up sticking my hand mixer in the bowl and using that.I stuck the bowl back on the mixer when adding the flour as it just needed a gentle mix. The plastic guard is crap! Flour everywhere, seeped under the plastic and flew out all over he top of the lid.I ended up taking it off and sticking a tea towel over the top and had less mess.Lastly, it's LOUD! Now I had read this in previous reviews and didn't think it would bother me but when you've got the dam thing drowning out every other sound in the house coupled with it not bloody working you just want to chuck it out the window!I will now be saving hard for kenwood
