Only works with a charger, doesn’t work for earphones at all.

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt this had to be said. I believe the quality of this product is okay, not great, definitely room for improvement with the price you’re paying. I bought this and it allowed me to use the earphones which worked, however my phone would not charge unless held at a certain angle. I found this odd as I have an original charger wire, which when used alone, works perfectly fine. I am disappointed to learn that this intervention does not work. As in reality it is ideal to have. I’m not sure whether I received a defective/damage item. But I’d rather have a replacement sent out.

I recently found myself in hospital with only my phone and headphones on me. When I needed to charge my iPhone and found I could not listen to my music at the same time. Since Apple have made iPhones this way since the iPhone 7 with no phones input jack.It's not really an advancement when I have to use TWO adapters, one on the end of my headphone cable to convert my headphone cable to the iPhone and now another one to charge while listening to the music.That I blame Apple for of corse. This does solve the problem perfectly but would it not be better to go back to the 3.5mm jack in the iPhone as it was upto iPhone 6 and still is with Samsung. That way you can listen and charge with no adapters.

I was surprised that this splinter actually worked since the one I previously bought didn’t work fully only one way. With this I can use my iPhone headphones while charging and no issues even though the iPhone says it’s not supported. I’m happy with this purchase 😊👍🏼👍🏼

I’d bought this to use in car to charge and listen to music from my phone. The charger connector worked fine and charged at a usual rate, but the headphone connector didn’t work at all. I tried with headphones separately and it worked but the sound quality was poor compared to using the headphones without the connector.
