I have long, straight, relatively fine but dense hair. As does my 3-year-old. I have been using the same brush for ages and it was starting to fall apart. I have been shocked at how difficult it was to find a simple, cheap, effective, non-gimmicky brush. I do not want a $20 brush with magic powers and weird bristles. I just want a simple hairbrush for myself and kids that is comfortable.This does the trick. It’s comfortable to use and brushes our hair gently. It was what I think a hairbrush should cost. It is a good brush.

Great brush and it's the only brush that doesn't pull our hair. If the brush is pulling your hair, then the bristles might be loose and you may want to replace it. To those having a hard time cleaning it, use a small crevice brush (you can get here on amazon) or a small tooth brush and gently clean it with shampoo. (Yes, shampoo.) If you still have some lent around the bristles, use a pair of tweezers to pull it off, though the brush you use to clean with should do a good job at removing most of it. That is how I clean mine and it looks brand new everytime. (Ive not had an issue with getting any water in my brush, but if you do, then you may have loose bristles.)(I originally ordered this brush Monday, but it arrived to me damaged yesterday. After contacting customer service, a replacement was shipped immediately and I received it today in perfect condition. Very much appreciated!!!)

This brush has been a lifesaver in our house. My daughter has long, fine hair that turns into a knotted mess after every bath or swim. I was dreading the hair-brushing fights every day—until we tried this.Now? No more screaming, no more chasing her around the house with a brush. It glides through wet hair so easily, and she actually asks to use it. I even use it on my own hair and it works just as well.If you’re a mom dealing with tangles and tears, this brush is 100% worth it.

This brand is the only hair brush I use. When I was younger I did not like to brush my hair because I had a lot of curls underneath and it hurt badly when my mom brushed it. I used this and it helped me ever since. Now I’m able to brush my hair normally without any pain and get through those though curls. The size is great, it’s not small and works great for thick or thin hair.

Works ok. Not as good as i thought tho. My daughter is extremly tenderheaded and her hair gets really matted. Figured this would be the ansewer. Its better than most but takes alot more brushing and still bothers her. Works great for my other daughter though wet or dry.

I have long, thick, hard to brush hair & Wet Brushes are some of the only brushes that I can use. I can't get a regular brush through my hair even with the best detangler spray in the world! So was happy to find this brush with the cute cherry design on it. Very functional and cute. Would highly recommend this brush!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I assumed this brush was just hyped up. I didn't think it could really be as good as the reviews said. My daughters and I have to similar brushes that we are very happy with. Then my daughter lost her brush. I tried to find the exact brush, but they do not appear to make it anymore. So, we tried the Wet Brush.Wow! I wish we had tried this brush years ago! My daughter has very long hair and she does not like brushing it. It gets extremely snarly and can take a long time to brush. It can still take awhile to brush depending on how bad her hair is. BUT, she doesn't complain about it hurting anymore! As I brush her hair the outer layers magically become snarl free. I pull the top layers away and then keep brushing the lower layers.The brush is great. I think it does work best with wet hair. It works fine with dry hair too, but if you really need to detangle some snarls, I'd recommend using it with wet, conditioned, hair.

Apparently, they are not paying attention to the color choices people order. I did get mine quickly though and so did my granddaughter.I ordered two of the "Wet" brand hair brushes - one in iridescent pink for my granddaughter that she picked out- she was sent a black one; and the other an iridescent gray for myself - I received an orange one with pictures of peaches.We both love these no-tangle hair brushes so I will keep then; however, I'll exchange her black one for my orange one the next time I visit.
