Definitely recommended.
Item arrived before the predicted Amazon date of delivery. Seller kept me well informed of dispatch and delivery date by text. Not only giving me the date of delivery but also the estimated time of arrival (arrived very close to the hour designated). The shelving units are not precision made, but are extremely well made. Assembly was recommended for two people within an hour, it took me less than the hour on my own. Only tools required were two cross head screwdrivers. The easiest piece of flat pack furniture I have built due to the components all being numerically marked by removable numbers and the screws and accessories all being individually packed by type and alphabetically coded. The instructions then give you a detailed picture of what each piece / accessory looks like and an idiot proof step by step guide on how to build it.It does say in the instructions, but just in case you think it is not required, DO NOT tighten the screws as you fit them, this includes the four screws (two each side) that hold the side struts together. Once you have the shelves in place, THEN tighten the screws. By doing this you will not have slopping shelves and a cock-eyed unit.I have not attached mine to the wall as the plaster is old and I think drilling into them would cause problems. However, it stands in my bathroom on a tiled floor and seems very secure. I have towels and toiletries on it, with plenty of space for a potpourri bowl and a plant.Definitely recommended.

Worth what it cost. Generally very happy with it.
Easy to build. I did the shelves the wrong way round but that's just my incapability because the instructions are very clear actually! The bottom shelf split when I put the screw in, and I think as a result of that not being as tight as it should be the whole thing now feels a little wobbly. In terms of value for money though you really can't go wrong. I haven't secured mine to the wall as I'm in a rented apartment so no screws in walla allowed and even still, it's sturdy enough. I've got a reasonable amount of weight on each shelf. I honestly think if the bottom shelf could be fixed the whole thing would feel sturdy. I'd say go for it. Just be careful when putting screws in. The much more expensive versions on the market would obviously be more sturdy and strong. But this is worth it's cost. Generally very happy with mine. It looks good and does what I wanted it to do. I may upgrade to a more expensive version in the future. But I bought this during lockdown while updating my apartment and its perfect for that.

Great looking display ladder..
Bought these to replace old glass cabinets, love how they make the room look bigger, despite holding as much. They feel sturdy enough and were easy to put together.. lovely gray colour.

Rubbish and poor quality.
Pretty straightforward to put together initially, but then I found that the holes hadn't been created for the nut and screws on the second shelf. Contacted Amazon who gave me a partial refund of £8 as they couldn't just send me a new shelf without me retuning the whole thing. Fine, I will drill holes myself.Put it altogether, was wider than expected but looked ok. Bit cheap but it was only £40. As I place two dictionaries on the largest (6th) shelf at the bottom, I hear a very slight tearing sound and then the shelf split at the screws! This particular shelf was seemingly the most sturdy. The top shelves only had a couple of ornaments on, so very lightweight. This product should NOT be advertised as a bookshelf; moreover a massive letter rack, because that's all the weight it seems to be able to hold. It should be more sturdy being that it's going to take up so much space. Sending it back ASAP and I'm SO MIFFED.

How can you buy two of the same product and them be so different
Ordered two a few days apart......first one easy to put up, looks great has curved edges to the shelves at the ftont. Second one arrived.....wood splits easily and straight edges on the shelves not curved like the first one....quality of the wood doesn't quite match either and shelves look a lot thinner on the second one. Bit disappointing as they are in the same room and look different .

aesthetically pleasing Product
need 2 people to assemble, although it’s easy to assemble, it can start to get heavy when lining things up. I did leave out the wooden dowels, as on the first shelf It burst through the wood on the shelf when I screwed it. So didn’t use anymore. So far hasn’t afffected the build or quality of the ladder shelf.Value for money, nice light grey colour, really good height and just finishes our living room off nicely, with some plants, candles and lights on. Would definitely recommend.

Basic, but looks good
This arrived a lot quicker than expected, which was great. It's a basic product, but sturdy enough and a good size too. I'm really pleased with it. Yes it's laminated MDF and yes it would have been nice if there were little stickers to cover all the fittings holes, but it's fine for what it is.It was relatively quick and easy to build, although be careful not to overtighten the fixings on the shelf edges, or they'll split. Also check twice that you're fitting the right vertical pieces together, or you'll have to take it all apart and rebuild! It looks good and stores a lot more than I thought it would. I'd definitely recommend.
