Sturdy, adjustable and very versatile.
Due to back/hip problems, I was advised that a standing desk might be a good idea, so I shopped around, whimpered at some of the prices, then found this one. Having read the reviews I decided that it offered the right combination of price and quality I was looking for. I hesitated slightly when I saw the number of people who were saying 'It's great, but the assembly instructions are insane', but then thought 'I'm bright. I can handle that ..' and ordered it.It arrived quickly and the first thing that struck me was how heavy the (surprisingly small) box was. I could tell it was heavy even before I picked it up because the poor delivery bloke was pink in the face and wheezing, 'Where should I put this, love? It flaming weighs a ton' (or words to that effect ...).The next day I had a good breakfast, rolled up my sleeves and tackled the assembly. I was a bit startled by how pieces there were and yes, the instructions can only be described as 'minimal', but as long as you can read small print (the diagrams and print are quite small), and you take note of all the instructions about getting things the right way round and the right way up, it's actually quite easy to put together. Oh yes it is. I'm female and in my mid-sixties, and put it together all by my little self. And now it IS together, it's great: very sturdy and stable, adjustable (to a certain extent - it requires a bit of muscle and fairly strong hands to adjust the height) and - thanks to the castors - very easy to move around (which is my small house it quite important) in spite of its weight.A good buy, worth the money, and it's great to have an alternative to sitting in an armchair or sitting at a desk or table to work - especially when I'm using my laptop. (Laptop + Comfy Chair = crippling back pain).

Great laptop desk for taller folks
Great item. Is exactly as described. It arrived promptly with a full set of instructions and all parts needed. As long as you read a couple of steps ahead, assembly is realtively easy using the instructions. Once assembled it feels nice and robust and as I am 5'8" and picked one with a range of heights so this is a perfect fit for using with my laptop. I think its great value for money and have been using it for three months now with no issues.

Great desk, one flaw
I found this desk really easy to assemble and thought the instructions were easy to follow and parts marked clearly. It's a good, sturdy desk and the wheels are good and move easily.I have only one real complaint and that is that the lip on the top shelf isn't high enough. I use this desk with a laptop and don't currently have a separate keyboard so sit my laptop on the top shelf and use the laptop keyboard while sitting down. With the shelf tilted at an angle comfortable for my wrists, my laptop sits against the lip at the bottom. Almost any knocks to the desk will cause the laptop to slip over the top of the lip and off the desk. I tried sticking the two supplied pads to the bottom of the desk, but if anything, this made it worse as the front edge of the laptop sits on top of the pads.Literally another 3-4 millimetres would be enough to prevent this without making the lip high enough to dig into your wrists.Other than that a great bit of kit for working from home if you don't have a dedicated workspace.

Sturdy and Reliable.
I teach from home due to Covid and prefer to alternate sitting and standing when I work. This desk is solid, sturdy and does not wobble. It is large enough to fit what I need on it and can be easily adjusted. It is quite heavy and has a cool metallic feel to it. The desk part is magnetic and my iPad case sticks to it perfectly which is excellent for when I have the desk orientated at an angle. The cup holder shelf is safe and I am confident to place my coffee there. The wheels have trolly-style locks on them which keeps it firm and stable during operation. When unlocked the wheels glide smoothly which ensures good manoeuvrability when I want to wheel it away. The assembly instructions are very clear and pretty good compared to some I have read recently, though the assembly is a bit fiddly at times. It took me around 40 mins from unboxing to completion and I'm a fairly technical person, so your mileage may vary on that. I'm not sure how that could be improved - the inner gasket for the legs to stop the inside pole from escaping was quite annoying, and attaching the desk part to the uprights took a bit of effort, but other than that it is probably as easy as it could be.If you want a no-nonsense and reliable standing desk that is suitable for writing/drawing on, placing an iPad or laptop on, and having a sturdy construction - then this is good value for the money. I am very happy with this purchase.

An excellent option for a budget standing desk!
Over the past few years, sitting on the couch or floor with my laptop has killed my posture and given me back and knee pain. I thought I'd try a standing desk to alleviate some of it, so I went for this budget option to see if I liked the height.Happily, this desk turned out to be exactly what I wanted! I don't think I'll be buying another standing desk for a long time. I'm very happy indeed with this desk, I love how it's tiltable and height-adjustable. I bought a saddle stool to sit on, and my posture and pain level have improved tremendously. The slightly rough slip-proof coating means I can tilt it quite a bit and my laptop doesn't slide around. Also, I frequently paint using procreate on my Ipad. My Ipad has a magnetic case that sticks to the table. This has been the perfect combo, I don't have to worry about the Ipad sliding around as I paint! One warning: At 5'6", I use it at about 1cm more than the lowest height - if you're shorter than I am or require a more adjustable desk which you can also sit at, this may not be a good choice for you.One more note - the instructions aren't the best. I still got it together and it seems stable, but I remember them being a bit confusing, perhaps in a different language? All in all, I love my desk. Maybe you'd love it too, give it a try!
