Good book, nice recipes

I bought this book after reading the comments given here and although the book does contain some useful information, a lot of it is unecessary in my opinion.The explanations, such as they are, read more like a user manual than a book. On the other hand, there are some good recipes in the second half of the book and it seems to me that the explanations should have been shortened/removed, in some cases and more recipies added. A smaller font size would have allowed more content.Despite the above, I do not regret buying the book.

With energy prices going up I decided to use my microwave more. usually it's just used for warming beans, soups, baking the jacket potatoes.But now with all the lovely simple recipes in this little book it's getting used a lot.Yesterday I used it to cook aubergine and make the moussaka recipe. Lovely taste and cooked in no time at all.Well worth buying to save energy costs.Lovely tasty recipes.

Very good & helpful

Very timely to cook in a microwave with energy prices soaring. Recipes in this book are for eg. jacket potatoes, fish, soup, desserts, etc. I never knew I could cook so many things in a microwave. By following all the instructions, perfectly good dishes can be made, and by doing them I could make up my own recipes. An introduction to a new, eco friendly way of cooking. Could easily be hyped up lot more.

What a load of rubbish.!! Not worth the paper it's written on. !!
