This one is never going to break, so robust. Its easy to assemble, adaptable between a short and long handle, well made as all metal with strong welds between the blade and first part of the handle shaft and has good design features (cutting teeth on the spade blade and boot saving edges on the top of the blade), it also comes with a handle wrap if you don’t like holding a pure metal handle. When using the full two poles as a handle some might think it’s a bit heavy but I’m ok with that due to the huge amounts of leverage that gives (if needed), the height of the single pole will be suitable for most people if that’s your choice.Good make, good design, will last forever at good price.

well made does a very good job, bit on the heavy side but a good spade

This is a well designed and well made digging tool. Everything about it feels solid and practical.The serrated blade cuts through hard ground and small plant roots with ease. The handle comes in two sections so you can use it in either long or short versions. I found the short length the ideal size for metal detecting. The roll of grip wrap that comes with it is a nice touch as it prevents your hands from getting cold on the metal handle and shaft.This shovel is a little on the heavy side but I think this is just a consequence of its heavy duty construction.If you're looking for a digging tool that's well designed and built to last then this is well recommended.

Maybe I am just lazy but I find this heavy to carry metal detecting. I don't have a proper bag with a fitting to carry so I have to unscrew it to put in rucksack. It is strong and sturdy.

Was reluctant to spend this amount on a glorified spade but glad I did. Very sturdy, well designed with 2 lengths available. Took a bit of getting used to but with determination and effort was able to dig out some nasty chunky roots. The serrated edges work brilliantly along with the v shape spade end. Very happy customer, thank you

Wasn't too impressed after mine snapped at the weld, also found it a bit heavy , having said that I was pleased with the way it cut through roots.

Yeah it's a tad heavy but I'll only be metal detecting for 2 to 3 hrs so won't be a problem, also the weight make it feel sturdy. With winter coming up I used the tubular foam it came with, cut some bits off and taped them on with the tape provided at places I'll be hold it for insulation and to keep my pinkies toastie. If it breaks at the weld as others have said I'll just nip it into somewhere that does welding and get them to fix it, simples : )

Heel goede schep… makkelijk te monteren en demonteren. Heel scherp en snijd gemakkelijk door diverse ondergronden heen 😁

Gebruik hem voor het opgraven van vondsten tijdens het metaal detecteren. Heel stevig, handzaam en werkt goed. Zou deze zo weer kopen.

bin viel im Wald zum sondeln unterwegs und keine Wurzel hat bis jetzt dem mächtigen Spaten standgehalten:) einfach klasse. Klar ist er nicht der leichteste aber dafür stabil und zerlegbar.Klare Kaufempfehlung
