Can this work on a PC?

Its works with windows 10 with razer synapse application,with usb cable,recognized as a xbox controller.

The volume and power buttons are in the centre so is this even usable with the Razer phone?

i had this and put it back. it feels cheap and flimsy. not very good quality at all. however if you have the newest type of xbox controler you can use that to play on your device or tablet. My kid uses an xbox controler to play mincraft on here samsung galaxy tab 2. It would still connect through bluetooth

Will it work with the razer phone?

Basically... Unfortunately the start and select buttons will not work (razer have not indicated that they will do anything about this, it's basically a driver issue) and the phone grip will press on the volume and screen lock buttons, requiring you to place it off centre or (as I did) glue some rubber to the grip to keep it off the buttons. Everything else is fine. With android 9.0 pie potentially coming to the phone a Xbox one s controller will work perfectly with it; at that it might be a better option for you.
